But even if the dice suck, do they not suck for everyone? That would mean that no matter how screwed up the dice are, its fair, because everyone plays with the same dice.

I saw similar signs of secret diplomacy in game 4114788
Harder to tell, though, because they failed to have any continents in my game. They did, however, seem to neglect easy 1's from each other to get spoils.

USA was my first map, and played it for, if I recall, my first three games. Lost all three, too :(

Re: An undo button, please!

This should be a heads up to mapmakers, players don't like having to guess what a territory's name is :p
Some of the maps with foreign languages on them give me similar issues... Someone should make a plug in that highlights whatever territories are selected in the drop down menu.

Re: dice problems

But it shouldn't matter how many people are rolling the dice, because what other people roll (unless I am grossly mistaken about your dice algorithm) will have no effect on you. I am assuming that when someone rolls a certain combination, that combination is not removed from the list of available ...

Another game mode idea: limited attacks

Concise description:
Similar to how reinforcements can be 1 or many, I think it may bring a new face of gameplay strategy to have games where you can only have x number of attacks per turn (say, for the hell of it, 5). This would mean that even with a large troop advantage, you may still need to ...

New Game Mode idea: Terminator Assasin

I was thinking, I really enjoy Assassin Games (despite never actually winning one), but I am sad at how short they tend to be.
So here is my idea: Combine Assassin and Terminator.
Rules would be simple- Everyone starts out with a target ala Assassin. When your target is killed, you get points like ...

Re: Evolution vs Creation-Comparing each View

Well, your first link makes no claim the leprechauns exist. Its just about the mythology behind them.
I did a search through The Book of Leinster, and did not find any mention of leprechauns. Perhaps you could clarify for me where in this book it is claimed they exist?

Mythology?! How dare you ...

If you would only study them in depth you would come to love and worship our little friends as well.

By all means, give me some sort of text to study that claims for leprachauns to be real.

Re: Evolution vs Creation-Comparing each View

If you used half the time you spent in this thread to actually read a good book on the matter, then you'd learn much more. (But please don't select a book by a preacher or those that appear on Oprah and such). Why don't read the most respected authors first? Hawkins, Dennet, Dawkins, perhaps W ...

I find it sad that people can be so quick to pass off a belief without really studying it. Many people who have come to me with "proof" that the Bible is contradictory or makes false scientific claims, often do not know what it really says.

Forgive me for not reading the 127 pages here, but I wanted to link to www.answersingenesis.org as a good site for actual Christians with science degrees who have no problems lining up what we see today and what the Bible says.

Sorry if this has been mentioned before.

And yes, I am a young-earth ...

Re: Hide card names in FoW games

I think you shouldnt even be able to see another player's actions unless it is adjacent to your own territories. Instead of "Player 1 deploys 2 troops to ?; Player 1 attacks ? from ? and conquers it from neutral player, player 1 reinforces 4 troops from ? to ?", we should only see "Player 1 takes a ...

I don't require identical territory name. For example, New York City would be counted in New York State, USA, North America, and Earth (among others), since all these territories include New York City.

Most common location?

What location can be occupied on the most maps? For example, Texas can be occupied on both the USA map and the New World map, even though the name isn't on the New World Map. Just curious if anyone can find what territory is on the most maps, even if it is not named or is a part of a larger ...

Re: Bad Ratings just because you won?

Let me ask the community this, then:
If you see someone who has 4-5 stars for over 90% of their feedback, do you just assume the 1 star ratings are the result of someone being a jerk rather than the player earning the low rating?

Bad Ratings just because you won?

Now I am relatively new here, so maybe its just the way this is, but it seems that people who don't talk at all during games are the same ones who will leave you bad ratings just because you lost. I mean, honestly, do you expect to win every game? I don't see what the big deal is about losing some ...

How about just using the New Hampshire/Vermont counties? That would be about 20 spaces.

I was thinking a New England map might be cool, but I think a good place to start would be with a map of all the counties:
