Re: Haven't played a game in over 7 years

Thanks jammyjames! (and caf too hehe) I doubt things have changed much in that regard KoolBak. Peoples is peoples and it is after all the internet... helps keep things interesting! I don't think we've ever played, but your name is familiar. Have you been here since the beginning?

Thanks for your responses! The polymorphic option looks cool. I also see there is a strategy forum and will see if I can learn more there.

Haven't played a game in over 7 years

So much has changed and it is kind of intimidating! Are there still players around from the old days? I wonder where to start...

The "attacker advantage" isn't a huge advantage, so yes, it was a lot of luck.
This may be the case, but I've yet to see a convincing argument. I looked at Killa Noah's history and it seems they've only recently started this freestyle triples tactic, with increasing success. I haven't looked at ...

Thanks all for stopping by.

I just wanted to mention demonicplague who introduced me to CC, my bro Killa Noah and friend senor_columbia who I have played an insane amount of freestyle games with. Razorking, who coincidentally finished both the game that I got general star in and tied Jork for 1st ...

Not sure how high of a rank you're talking here, but I would love to find some players with higher scores to play 2x2 freestyle games against. I rarely see such games, and usually have to settle for games with majors and lower ranks, or muster the patience for sequential.

Do you only play doubles ...

I know that determining the moral inclinations of people in general isn't realistic. I wish it were though!

I guess the question could be: Do pepole tend to be optimists or cynics?

good post, homey. but since you're bored, i'll muddy the waters....what is "good" or "bad?" if we're talking about personal morality, what is the standard, where are the lines?

What, are you saying that not everybody has the same ethical standards as myself?

In that case, maybe start at the ...

At this point, CC is video game enough for me... I still haven't finished Final Fantasy XII, which would be normally so antithetical to my personality as to garner legitimate inquiries as to whether I'd become a Pod Person. But, and I hate to say it, low-tech CC against real people is more fun than ...

I'm bored. So, from a CC players perspective, do you think that people have intrinsically good or bad tendencies?

Do you still play them... a lot? I know I don't play a fraction as much as I used to in high school. Now I just stick to one or two that I'm "good" at. Which is kinda sad I guess, 'cause I'm sure there are SO many good ones out there.

The last game I finished and enjoyed was the Twilight ...

Die

"Die" is singular. "Dice" is plural. Is that common knowledge? It doesn't seem like that to me, but then people don't talk about a single "die" that often.

I mean, under what circumstances would you hear someone complaining about how one die is not living up to the standard of their other TWO ...

6 player game, it can be sequential or freestyle. For this example I will use freestyle.

Player A has 4 cards, and eliminates Player B who had 5 cards. Player A now has 9 cards.
Player C logs on while Player A is deciding how to use his cash-ins. Player C starts his turns with 4 cards, doesn't ...
