Re: Is this really a good idea?

All one would have to do is surf this forum before a game to see if their opponents talked about their strategies
Knowing one or two of your opponents strategies won't help you win the game. You might have very very slightly better chances against those players, but the others will probably kill ...

Sorry to see your hopeless situation, IF yellow really does what he has said. Because blue is already too weak to fight light blue, and if you two spend armies on each other, there's no doubt who the winner will be.

Any idea why yellow is going after you (it's not that clear from the game chat ...

Just my thoughts too, Molacole.

The point to stop trying to survive, come back and win is when your last army has gone and you're out

Dug appears to be an idiot, not realising that ANY possible point system can be manipulated (has he even suggested one yet??), using or trying methods that many others find unethical, accusing others about PLAYING the system, etc, but at least he brings some FUN to CC. The site needs him, probably ...

It seems that almost always, when ethics of alliances/treaties/truces are discussed, nobody seems to notice/remember that when each of us joined CC, we accepted something like that as a part of the deal.

Or what does possibly the second sentence everyone ever reads here mean? I don't quote it now ...

same shit different pile. It would easy to get that many points if your only purpose on here was to accumulate points. dugde, some people's purpose here is to accumulate points.
Also there are many many people not having that as a sole target.
What's yours, may I ask?

I believe the cheating itself is a game for some people. You sign up on a web site, see there's some rules for being there - why follow the rules? Why not "test the system" instead and make the game of it?

Some win some loose. But what can you loose if you choose that cheating itself is your game ...

2. No secret alliances.

Nous-irons, it is that clearcut.

As someone put it so nicely, "let your actions on the gameborad do the speaking".

In addition to what you say in the game chat, your actions on the board, while doing the speaking, can be seen by all players, and not by just the ...

As far as the Dragoons goes,... it is strictly every man for himself.

Hm. You're saying, it's NOT affecting your decisions in the game? Not even when it's a three way draw, and you're deciding to suicide because otherwise it's going to be a long lasting build up.... One of the other players is ...

The Wrong Rev. HAS a point in this. I support the idea.

you have 5 countries your partner also has 5 countries.
your partner misses a turn --> you get 6 armies (instead of 3) next turn to keep YOUR TEAM in the game.
- Please notice the other teams ALSO get 6 armies per turn plus they BOTH ...

13 years happens to be exactly the difference between 1993 and today ... So, Dlakavi, we all know already that Lamont is older than that - maybe something like 30? - because he was there winning the championship in 1993, right ?

(the fact that he's possibly not winning some of his first games ...
