Re: Keiths31's Beer Festival

I love the idea behind this tournament. After careful consideration, I'll go on the Europe map for Chimay (Belgium). It was a toss-up between 4 or 5 Trappist beers, but that one's an old favorite so I'll go with it. :)

I'll retract this message. Lazaruslong offered a very thorough and polite explanation in the game chat. I appreciate his courtesy in handling this. I also appreciate AAfitz's input.

Put it down to my inexperience and an occasionally rather excitable nature

Why wouldn't green take just one country to prevent Red from building up, if they weren't helping each other. I've never seen anything so blatant in any of the games I've played.

We had Fahrenheit 451 as our Book of the Month some time last year. Great novel. I've been pondering doing a "classics" month --- only novels that are at least 25 years old and still in print.

Re: Aznin

It's an online reading group called Beyond Reality. Each month, our members nominate novels, then we vote to decide which book will become the Book of the Month and ...

2. Absolutely no games with dugcarr. (Eesh!)

3. Only play "flat rate" games. "Escalating" is neat, until you get burned by someone getting 50 ...
