i suggest that gilligan and the other guy get automatically qualified for round 3 on the CC6 because they've been screwed big time. so that means that if the format remains the same, there should be 632 participants instead of 640. I wouldn't be very happy if i were them!

one player has won 0 games, 1 player has won 1 game, 1 player has won 3 games. I think what would be fair would be to open 5 games between these 3, one would have to win 4, one would have to win 3 and the last would have to win 1. first to reach his goal makes it to the final.

I play in a lot of pool tournaments and run a few myself. I have seen problems like this before, not in any of the tournaments run by me because I know how to count.
