I don't think you have to take an oasis on the first turn. In fact sometimes it's better to wait. especially if you can't reinforce any armies to that oasis. I usually kill them off if they're near me. Or If they're weak and their last continent got destroyed and they don't have a shot at taking it over, then i'll try to kill their territories near to me to prevent them from "turtleing" on my border. I hate that when someone is doing that in the corner ...

I like the luck factor.

I would weaken teal to see how yellow reacts. If he also begins to pick away at teal then hit yellow and try to claim another bonus anywhere.
That's just an idea. I'm not that good at all but I thought I'd throw in my 2cents.

That's why I don't play freestyle that much. I play my turns late on a West Coast night so I'm usually off. But I would totally do that if I worked during the day.

Sometimes this site loads really slow. It takes like 5 minutes to take my turn because I keep losing connection with the site. So turns end up taking a long time. Perhaps that has something to do with people leaving? I miss the classic map but to be honest I never really played it that much.

This is my new favorite map! Well, it's tied with World 2.1. I love it! I've always gotten my transcontinental bonus. I think people aren't seeing that satellite country. This map is a lot of fun to play on fog too, especially because of that, and the med islands. Great job.
