Hey there KoolBak - hope you are doing well:

I have the map open in another window so am looking at it - Brunei is the Orange country diectly west of the brownish Central Indonesia, yes? It has a line from its northeast corner up to the Phillipines which works. It has a line from the west ...

Really guys? A rule that you have to wait until you complete one singles game before you can play a team game would make you leave the site?

That said, I'm personally in favor of everyone waiting until they complete five games. If, as lack points out, 80% of team deadbeats are noobs, then there ...

BTW, love the script!! =D>

I am 100% in favor of this idea. Asking someone to complete one game before they join a team game couldn't be more reasonable.

As I'm sure Lack is already painfully aware, retention - especially of already paying members - is an issue which cannot be ignored. I, for one, am becoming less and ...

Lack -

I used to have total blind faith until I saw the above case, but now, I confess, I am at least a little bit nervous.

(These two guys were found guilty of being a multi after playing only one singles game together ... AND, everyone in that particular singles game was perfectly happy with ...

Along the lines of filling out the form, but maybe easier to automate: What if family members or friends who frequently (or always) play from the same IP register as such. This wouldn't help the computer lab people who don't know each other well, but the rest of us could basically say up front when ...

yeah look at my friends. busted for multis because of it.
I, like KoolBak, am wondering if you can support this statement with names and games they played together that didn't look like cheating, but they were accused of cheating anyway.

My family has four players whose computers sit behind a ...

IMO:

Labeling RT games as such is a really great idea. Imposing a short stop clock is mostly unnecessary, as the"peer pressure" to play quickly has kept every RT game I've played moving along just fine. Plus, the current system allows players to mutually agree to take a break or whatever ...

Hmmmm..... in case you hadn't noticed, this site is a tad bit on the liberal side of the right of freedom of expression.
Actually, I had noticed, and while I was hopeful that decency might prevail in this case, I wasn't necessarily betting on it.

There are some actual No-No's outlined in the ...

I hope the mods will agree this avatar must go!

While this avatar is not pornography, it is truly repugnant (if in fact the cat is holding in his mouth what I think it is). I hope the mods will agree that the site would be better off without it.

Thanks for the responce, subdork. OK, went out on the web and boned up on chi-squared test. Very informative, but leads me to another question.

Mathematically, we would like to see if there is less than a 5% chance of achieving results that are at least as "bad" as these randomly.

Interesting ... what is the justification for 5%?
