Re: freestyle speed

Depends, I think it's fine to wait for minutes, but in a 24-hour game you're suddenly left hanging without notice. It isn't really really cheap since it's in the nature of the game (so I won't vote) and it's fair to take your advantages esepcially when you most need them, but testing a player's ...

CC survives some diffcult adjustments

Just to say well done CC and thanks for the pleasure of all these original games. I know as a "freemium" there are better ways to express gratitude but for now I hope you appreciate being thought of very highly indeed.

Re: Classic Art

It's an improvement on shapes, at least it has some character. So now I can play sort-of-Classic again. Nicely done.

Re: Crazy Maps And Dice?

I don't care it's been said, I feel a duty to give feedback and where the greater body of opinion stands is another matter. The new Classic map is enough to make me want to stop playing. For my social life that's OK and I'm just a freemium to CC but there it is. I really enjoyed playing the old map ...

Re: Classic Map Touch-Up

The reason it's harder is that those light circles are such a busy distraction. The colours night show up on them but the whole thing's much harder on the eye. This is an awesome site and congratulations on a great job, just change those circles, please!

But you don't know where they would have put them - so someone who wasn't a threat and could have been ignored becomes a threat because they still have open options after the missed turn. My point is having to account for that when other players might present a more obvious threat can ruin strategy.

Having to assume that someone who missed a turn plans a surprise attack is outrageous and even less sympathetic (if they couldn't help it) than a slight disincentive that makes deliberate missing of turns less likely and reassures the other players. Something like docking 20% (rounded up) of the ...

Agreed. Obviously the change is so that the numbers contrast with the background, but it looks busy and doesn't work.

Thanks king achilles. Drumgor has given an explanation that they are friends in real life. I don't especially buy it as the accounts were set up on different dates and none of them tried a public game first. They played another game since I started this thread and syllom won. Anyway Drumgor says ...

I'm playing a game against nightwaker. He just took a turn. Seems I'm not having much luck avoiding multis. So was he blocked? 1033528 Then again, I just took a look at his games and didn't at a glance see anyone else from Lebanon.

:? It's just a bit rough that a player can be attacked before advancing troops onto a conquered territory. Since there might be some complex scenario in which stalling could be abused I'm proposing that that a territory with that status can't be attacked for a few seconds.

Attacking During Freestyle Advance

I had won a territory and was advancing my troops only to learn that the territory had just been won by a third player immediately after I won it and while it still only had one of my winning troops on it. I wasn't being slow, my opponent was probably intending to win that territory from the person ...
