ok yes A LOT of work do be done ok heres how im gonna do this.

1. ok im gonna be making yes another draft then start better versions (well duh)
2. take advice of yall out there
3. make first version and go from there

Seriously? Another Doodle? This is better than the last bunch of course but seriously?

yes for three reasons:

1. This is the first time i had a draft to base on and that i thought was a great idea to do
2. This is one of the few places i can go in and not get flamed and insulted when i try to do or make something
3. ive always wanted to make a map

Y'know, I'm not sure what I was doing in that topic but pitching out map ideas for others to fill out wasn't it. I guess I'm not opposed to you carrying through with this, but:

A) Please don't use the Doodle theme. I may not really be out of my mind, but I and much of this forum seriously are tired of Doodle knockoffs.

B) Please don't use the Feudal Wars theme without asking permission from gimil. The orignal Feudal Wars is his map.

C) Please don't use the letter Z to form plurals. That is not cool. That has never been cool.

Why would you want to use someone else's design, anyway? Designing gameplay is the funnest part of mapmaking.

You certainly are copying someone -- gimil (and possibly DiM; I don't know how much of the map he's responsible for). At least make an effort to ask him about the Feudal theme.

As for me, I guess just change the title and I'll be satisfied.

I don't think this map will have much support since it is based on Feudal and Doodle which are both already great maps. You don't have the support of either of those mapmakers as far as I can tell, so it would be tough to see this combination progress in any positive manner. It's a clean version compared to some other doodle imitations, but the point is that we don't need any imitations of Doodle Earth. The original already captures the best theme possible.

By making the Feudal War map, gimil has copyright on it. To blatently make a near exact replica in shape, in territory name, in gameplay... It's a huge insult to pretend you're not copying Feudal.

Make your own ideas, and go from there.

If you were expecting a no from people then why post it up at all.

If you have a new fresh design for a map then go ahead and post it up but don't try cutting through loop holes just so you can create a knock off of already integrated CC maps.

Not so sure about these points -

"All previous attempts were rejected by the community" Strange use of the words all and community.
"Doodle Earth is a unique map" - City Mogul is in the same style (with crap doodles).
"It deserves to be unique." Said who? God? Is it in the Bible?

Basically cotton - if you want to do a map in this style you will face all sorts of rubbish put-downs due to a minority of folks' aesthetic displeasure. Only way round that is to make the map decent before you post it and get some ordinary doods to support it.

And, avoid the word Doodle if you can. Ok, so the word, or the act, aren't copyrighted. However, the doods with the aesthetic displeasure seem to think it has some mythical, un-touchable status. Even using a derivative of the word Doodle might send them off into a religious frenzy about the holiness of Doodle Earth and its creator. And to make it worse, the creator has now added fuel to their fire. Its easier to just avoid the word(especially when it has connotations of the Doodle Map Pack etc.)

By the way, probably no need to blatantly deny you have ripped other doods maps off. Just admit its a rip-off, point out some other rip-offs and ask to see the legal copyright documents Alternatively, do a partial rip-off and add your own ideas, like lots of other people do. Or come up with something totally new as many others do too.

Well, I think Mogul's doodles are quite well done.

man you are just stretching to get that map contribution medal or something? not really into this but just my opinion.
