Welcome to the Police StateThis happens and will continue to happen unless we start standing up for our rights AND the rights of each other! The actions of the police in these video's CAN NOT be justified and all of them should be fired.

Isn't that getting kind of "normal" these days?

holy shit
f*ck i hate cops... power hungry mother fuckers.
One of them gave my girlfriend a $227 fine only yesterday for riding her bicyvle through a pedestrian light after all the pedestrians had finished crossing. Technically in the wrong, but only fucking assholes would get off on giving a student a fine like that.

Sadly, if the guy had gotten out of the car, he wouldn't have been beaten.
In any event, I hope all those border patrol jackasses get fired and I hope someone gets sued. They did have probable cause to search his car, so anything that was in there that was a crime to possess would likely lead to this poor bastard being put in jail.

Did you watch the second video? They didn't find anything. And it seems like they lied about the probable cause.

I watched the second video. Nothing lead me to believe they lied about probable cause except that the guy said they did.
If I had been in that guy's situation, I would have gotten out of the car (assuming no drugs or people were in my trunk).
But, hey, I'm anti-police state as much as anyone. I'm just saying the guy should have used common sense. If two guys walked up to me and said, "Give me your wallet," I give them my wallet... even if it's wrong. Then, I get them prosecuted after. This guy should have gotten out of the car, let them do the search, and then sue the living crap out of them and get them all fired.

If I was in his situation I'd have done the same, or at least threatened to sue them. But I still admire him for standing up to them.

You can't sue after willingly allowing a search. The guy has constitutional rights and those cops didn't like him standing behind them so they beat the crap out of him. End of story. The problem with the "He just should have did as he was told" frame of mind is that we have rights, we should not have to bow down to authority figures who violate those rights. If the guy was lying about the dog then they should have had no problem bringing it back out... but they didn't. Why? Because they were lying, they had no probable cause.

This is all a joke. He took the Yuma Sector Challenge to get one of these:
U.S. Border Patrol Yuma Sector’s Challenge Coin
The rope around the edge is a symbol of strength through unity.
The Eagle and American flag are symbols of Pride, America's freedoms and pursuit of excellence.

But he... What if... f*ck, I got nothing... He, quite simply, did nothing wrong... One tase is always enough. If one cop cannot subdue an apprehend one person with one shot from a taser, two if they're being really difficult, then they shouldn't be a cop. With the 5 or so cops that were there, then they shouldn't have even needed a taser let alone multiple bursts. They're designed to incapacitate the person so it's really easy to get some cuffs on him. You can't even stand when you're tased, all your muscles just tense up, you're in immense amounts of pain, you fall, cops come and handcuff you just as though they tackled you with less danger to officer and without the lethality of a gun. Hell, I could take on a pretty big dude with my 125 pound frame if I had a taser. Shits intense man. That was not cool, what they did.

In my opinion, it is clear that the law officers were simply bored and wanted to harass and humiliate someone. Along comes this pastor and it became easy for them to get carried away. I praise the pastor for standing up for his rights, and standing up for my rights. I hope that, one day, I can have a chance to stand up for my rights too. We have entered into a police state. I am not sure when it really took effect, but I believe that it has been on the rise foe a while. I am utterly disgusted at the actions of those that are supposed to be protecting us.

Actually, you can sue for anything. If I was barred in whatever state he was in (Nevada, I think), I would take his case in a quick second for 33%. No question. He would win, and he would win big.

I learned from a guy in jail that the worst part about getting tazed is when they pull the hooks out.
RRRRRRRAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAGGGGGGGEEEEEEEEE I still can't watch video.

Yeah, let's see. With a lawyer, he would get 67%. How much do you think he'd get without one?

There is about a 99% chance that the guy was telling the truth about the dog. I'm pretty sure it is quite rare that those dogs make mistakes.

That isn't the point. The guy is not into this to make money. He was standing up for Freedom of the People.

Holy f*ck, that is bad. There are some other videos on YouTube that show it better.
My heart is filled with hate when I see that kind of stuff. How can good cops allow this to happen?

Not as rare as you might think:
http://www.cbsnews.com/stories/2004/01/05/60minutes/main591477.shtmlhttp://www.k9fleck.org/reltrn.htmThe dog must be trained, certified and reliable. The dog does not have to be 100% accurate or perfect. The courts have recognized the fact that “false responses”, “false positives” or “false alerts” occur and dogs can be as low as 54% accurate.

Speaking from firsthand knowledge, they have a "code", you NEVER go against a fellow officer.
