It never ceases to amaze me when liberal use their vile tongues to attack the right. Then they say that they are appalled at the things that the right says. I am off to my local tea party!

With how mature and enlightened most liberals claim to be, you'd think they'd come up with something better than petty schoolyard humor. But then again, I'm not surprised that's what they've done.

You'd think those involved would find a better---hm---term.

I think Jon Stewart said it the best ;): http://www.dailykostv.com/w/001142/

Yes how mature or inteligent is it to repeat the same action over and over and expect a different result.

Reagan + trickle down theory = recession

Bush senior + trickle down theory = recession

Bush JR + trickle down theory = RECESSION

Since Reagan the rich have gotten richer and the poor poorer.

Effect on per capita jobs and income ONE BIG DEFICIT [no pun intended]

They do? Thanks for letting me know; I'd better get my condescending face on.

you'd think they'd come up with something better than petty schoolyard humor.

Dude, it's a lighthearted joke - lighten up. Nobody is actually suggesting conservatives are having oral sex with each other (or soliciting gay sex in public restrooms)

I know they aren't, however the way MSNBC, as well as many other "news" agencies, like to report or present things just never cease to amaze me.

Luckily I only get my news from ESPN. :) The only trusted name in news, fair and balanced, etc. ;)

... Let us compare the protests today to those of the G20 if we look for a true Liberal-Conservative comparison.

... I wonder how many cars will be burned today... or how many buildings will be invaded, then set afire... Or urination in the streets...

...

Well, I already did that last part, but not in protest.

"Vile" might be a bit much, but its hard to deny that it might have been a bit of a stunt that was inappropriate for a news source that usually tries to take itself seriously.

I've yet to meet a liberal that has claimed to be mature or enlightened. In fact, most I've are light hearted folks who laugh at silly jokes and just want to have fun with the people around them...

I think conservatives definitely have that image of liberals. Plenty of possible reasons why, but there's no doubt Republican politicians have been taking advantage of it (if not creating it at least to some extent) at least since the Civil Rights movement (think terms like "effete" or "elitist" or "limousine" liberals).

The reason is quite simple. The conservatives have DEFINED this imaginary liberal elite, composed of "academics" and the like that is supposedly controlling the media, much politics. They did this a few decades ago because they realized that the Republican party was losing ground. So, they set forth to find those issues about which they could agree with "middle America". And, they succeeded. Folks have been willing to vote for whomever, if they were anti abortion and homosexuality, never mind how destructive economic policies were or anything else.

It worked well when the economy was doing well. Now, they have taken hits, but suddenly it is these imaginary people who want to erode our morals that are again the issue... never mind who was in office when this economic mess was created, it HAS to be the fault of the "liberal elite".

Funny thing is, the only "liberal elite" I met all were pretty unpowerful .. and pretty silly. The TRUE liberals are all pretty tolerant, willing to listen before making up their minds and DO really care about people around them... sometimes despite things like sexual orientation and some time those things just don't matter.

A better term? wtf! Are you retarded? Its a reference to the Boston Tea Party. Has the liberal controlled public education system so brainwashed you that you really can't see past your toilet humor mentality to see that this is going to get big? Texas has reasserted its sovereignty! Hundreds of thousands come out to protest the ridiculous spending that the Federal Government has done, and all you can think about is balls on the chin? Really? Its you that has the problem.

The Boston Tea Party was a spontaneous protest to taxation without representation.

Like it or not, you are being represented. The reference to the Tea Party is frankly obnoxious once you get past the hilarity of tea-bagging.

Its pointless to argue with such arrogant liberals like you. You care nothing for liberty or freedom. You would much rather willfully hand over your personal sovereignty for scraps from the government table than stand like a man and make your own way in the world. I feel sorry for you and the likes of you.

In today's rallies, TEA stands for Taxed Enough Already......not actual Tea like in 1773. This is a huge event that happened all over the country, yet it's not much of a story to many media outlets. I bet anti-war rallies would have been covered.

The only historic events that I'll remember on this day:

The day Lincoln died, the day Jackie Robinson broke the color barrier. 'nough said. ;)
