[spoiler=THE RULES]Hi guys.

This is my first attempt at organising a tournament so I hope that everything works smoothly.
This is a doubles tournament for partners with a combined number of points that is 5000 or more. Below you will find all the details.

THE RULES

Maps:

There will be a random rotation of these eight classic style maps throughout the tournament:

Classic Art, USA, Canada, British Isles, Middle East, Alexander’s Empire, Mongol Empire, Netherlands.

Settings: Sequential, No Spoils, Chained, Sunny

Requirements: Each team must have a combined number of 5000+ points

Number of Teams: 16 teams with a total of 32 players (doubles)

Format of the tournament:

Group Stage:

There will be 4 groups. Each team will play 6 games (two against every other team in the group) and the first two teams go through. Each game won means 1 point.

Group A – 4 teams, first 2 go through
Group B – 4 teams, first 2 go through
Group C – 4 teams, first 2 go through
Group D – 4 teams, first 2 go through

Note: If two teams rank second and finish with equal points a play off game is played and whoever wins goes through. If two teams are joint first with the same number of points, the direct matches between them will be used to select the first and second spot of the group. If they win one a piece the team which used the least number of rounds to win a game will be ranked first.

Quarter Finals:

Winner Group A vs Runner Up Group B (best of 3 games)
Winner Group B vs Runner Up Group A (best of 3 games)
Winner Group C vs Runner Up Group D (best of 3 games)
Winner Group D vs Runner Up Group C (best of 3 games)

Semi Finals:

Winner QF 1 vs Winner QF 3 (best of 3 games)
Winner QF 2 vs Winner QF 4 (best of 3 games)

Final:

Winner SF 1 vs Winner SF 2 (best of 5 games)

Reserves:

Four (4) reserves will be required to fill in for anyone who drops out.
