Welcome to Captain Moo's first ever tourney. I have played well over 5000 games now and enjoyed many a tournament and I think I would like to give something back to CC and host a few of my own. Freemiums are permitted but please note you may have up to 3 games at once so KEEP THOSE SLOTS OPEN or face elimination.

CAPTAIN MOO'S CHALLENGE TOURNEY.

The prize I have chosen for the winner will be a Lifetime Sponsored Listing on the http://www.moo-directory.com for their favorite website (Valued at $75). I will PM the winner with details on how to claim their prize.

Maximum allowed to enter will be 40 and it is strictly on a first come first served basis. Posting on this thread will determine your place in the selection. PM's to me will be added only when I am online (daily but no time guarantee) so to ensure your place POST HERE NOW. If more than 40 apply then they will be placed as reserves on a first come first reserve place basis. I would like to see 5+ reserves (just in case) so even if there are 40 registered do put your name down and you may be called upon.

I will create all games, send you PM's with your games and passwords and I will report all games and maintain the standings. But feel free to post in this thread your results for bragging rights etc Current positions will be updated on a daily basis and displayed in the results post.

You will be allowed 3 days to join your games once created, failure to do so will see you eliminated and a reserve will be entered.

The tournament will be a test of various skills, diplomacy and disciplines as follows:

ROUND ONE (40 players): ONLY THE QUICK AND STRONG SURVIVE:
Randomly selected opponents. 1v1 FACE OFF. 3 match game, 1v1 games. Map 1 classic-seq-flat-unlimted-no fog, map 2 and map 3 is each users individual choice game settings as requested in the register template. Winner of 2 out of 3 progresses.

ROUND TWO (20 players): NOW IT CLASSICALLY ESCALATES:
Randomly selected opponents. 5 man classic-seq-esq-unlimited-no fog. Top 3 progress from each group. with 3 out of 5 progressing I think this will throw up some interesting tactics and be a fun round.

ROUND THREE (12 Players): HARDCORE PLAYERS ONLY WILL ADVANCE:
Randomly selected opponents. 3 man games. 1 Random map and settings. Winner only will advance. This will test not only your ability to play but also your diplomacy skills and should prove quite interesting.

ROUND FOUR (4 Players): THE WEAK ARE GONE - HEADS UP:
1 Random map, random settings. Winner of each game will progress to the final.

ROUND FIVE (2 Players): THE FINAL FRONTIER:
2 games on each of the players individual choices. First to 3 wins, wins the tournament! In case of a 2-2 tie break there will be an added random map, random settings to decide who takes the prize.
