Zombie Mafia - (5/9 alive) Town/Survivor Win!

I've been meaning to do this for awhile, but now I have a bit more free time so I think that I can properly moderate a game.
If a sizable amount of players have signed up by then, I will start this game at some point after CYOC and Hobbit mafia have finished.
I'd prefer somewhere between 16-26 players but can be flexible.

First off, here are some typical mafia rules AND some not-so-typical ones, so please do read them all

1. As your moderator, my word is law. I'd like to think I'll make no mistakes, but it can happen and i'll do my best to fix them if it happens. This also goes for any co-mods that appear.
2. No PM quoting. You can paraphrase win conditions and your abilities but using specific wording in your role PM to make arguments is unacceptable. Besides, i'm likely to change the wording from PM to PM so it wouldn't help anyways.
3. All votes/unvotes must be BOLDED and in BLUE.
4. The day will end once a majority vote to lynch is reached (greater than 50%) or 50% decide to vote no-lynch.
5. Deadlines will be set if activity drops. If no majority is reached by the time deadline hits, the player with the most votes will be lynched IF they have at least a third of the votes. Otherwise, it'll be a no-lynch.
---i.e With 15 players someone with 5 votes will by lynched but noone has at least 5 votes, noone will be lynched.
6. If there is a tie for who will be lynched, the deadline will be extended until one or the other has the majority vote. If there is no such thing after 48 hours, the day will end in a no-lynch.
7. After a lynch has been reached, absolutely no talking in thread during the night. This also goes for if you are dead.
8. No talking about the game outside of this thread, unless specifically told by me that you can.
9. No editing or deleting posts.
10. Please be active. In active members will be prodded or replaced, depending on how long they've been inactive. If no replacements can be found in a timely manner, they will be modkilled.
11. Don't attack people personally. If I feel things are getting too off-topic or personal, warnings will be issued or modkillings.
12. Nights will be 72-96 hours long, as decided when the end day scene is posted. Failing to send in your action during this time will cause you to take no action.
13. If you have any question about anything, feel free to send me a PM.
I'll be using a 3 strike system of sorts with the rules. A minor infraction/accident may be 1-0 strikes(i.e. harmless banter after a lynch has been reached). A larger infraction may be 2 or even 3 strikes all at once(i.e editing posts or posting important information when not allowed). At 3 strikes, you WILL be modkilled (the exception is inactivity where I will be looking for a replacement first). You may ask what your strike count is in a PM to me and I would ask that you don't inquire as to other players infraction count.

Now onto the fun stuff. This is a game with a partial open setup. Below will be a list of roles that COULD be in the game, as well as some basic information about them. Not all information regarding the roles will be revealed to everyone and some information will not be revealed even to the one who has the role. Once the game starts, I will NOT tell you what roles made it into the game (other than the Zombie Leader, cause what's a zombie game with no zombies?). There are up to 26 roles already planned out. If we somehow manage to get more than 26 players, I am more than willing to create more roles.

Zombie Leader - 3p
-Chooses a target each night, target becomes infected OR killed (Mafia members can ONLY be killed)
-Players are NOT notified if they are infected, only when they become a zombie (the night after they are infected)
-ALL zombies visit target (but not each other)
-Zombies win if they have majority
-Dead Vanilla Zombies appear as "zombiefied (role)"

Zombie Hunter - 3p OR town
-Wins if Zombies are eliminated before they are (if 3p)
-Can track OR kill someone each night. (tracking reveals whom that person visited)

Lonely Survivor - 3p
-Wins if they survive until end of game

Suspicious Samurai - Town
-Can choose to be 'suspicious' each night
-If suspicious, visitors die

Party Host - Town
-Can throw a party once per game

Drunk - Town
-Can roleblock one person each night

Voodoo Lady - 3p
-Wins if living at end of game

Detective - Town
-Can question one person anonymously during the day

Cop - Town
- Can investigate one person per night
- Results come up as 'Town' 'Third-party' or 'Mafia'

Doctor - Town
-Can choose someone to save each night
-Protects only from one kill attempt per night
-If preventing Zombie Kill, 50% to still be infected

Mad Scientist - Town
-Researches every night.

-Steals things

Blacksmith - Town
-Makes vests and guns

Godafather - Mafia
-Investigative immunity (Comes up as town)
-Decides on mafia kills

Lackey - Mafia
-Carries out mafia kill
-Does not attend mafia Meetings
-Does not know mafia

Scout - Mafia
-investigate one person each night to recieve their role

Hooker - Mafia
-Chooses one person to rolebock each night

Suicide Bomber - Mafia
-Does NOT attend mafia meetings
-Likes Bombs

Klepto - 3p
-Collects items

Oracle - 3p
-A seer predicting the future
-Wins if Alive at the end of the game.

"Vanilla" Villagers(6) - Town
-Each has a hidden aspect (appear as villager to themselves)
Note: Mafia members know who each other are at the beginning of the day UNLESS they do not attend mafia meetings. If there is no Lackey, any mafia member can carry out the kill.
If I change anything important in this post, I will make a note of it at the bottom.

I've tried this setup before and I've made balance changes so I can at least pretend it'll be balanced, but it's also pretty crazy so I just hope you all enjoy it \o/
You can signup for the game itself or as a replacement. I'm also willing to take on a co-mod, though I won't share any details until the game is about to start in case I can convince you to play the game instead =p

Few questions:
Players lose their powers when they're zombified right?
Is there a difference between Voodoo lady and Lonely survivor? Because they both look like regular survivors to me.
If someone is investigated the night he is infected, what will he show up as to any investigative role?

1. Players will loose any powers connected to their roles once zombified.
2. Shhhh secrets.
3. The night someone is infected, they will show up as their role as they do not turn until the start of the next night. They essentially spend the day after being infected not knowing they were infected

Due to the low turnout, I will have to do one of two things and I'd like some input input. Should I
A) Attempt to make a small balanced 8 player version of this (basically zombie vs town, no mafia) or
B) Save this setup for when mafia forums are more active and create a new theme/set of roles that works with a smaller amount of players?


Also sidenote: Thor will have to make a really convincing argument for getting into the game due to his frequent forum bans.

Option A and B look very similar if I understand correctly. In both cases you want to adapt your game to work with 8 players. Option A you use some of the roles in your first post to do so, option B you change the theme completely.
Did I got this right or is there something I'm missing? If revealing the details of the roles would prevent this setup from being played again (like option A seems to imply), I'd chose option B. If not, I have no preference whatsoever.

Option B is with completely new roles as well. Replaying this theme would simply require changing the hidden aspects of the roles used (like using option A). I was hoping to hear from all of the currently signed up players before making a decision, but I suppose I'll go with option A. This'll take some time to balance/let people know the game is starting, but we will be able to start this game in two weeks I think (in case we can get a straggler to sign up).

Alll of the role pms have been sent out. Once everyone confirms, day 1 will start. Due to the low amount of players, there is NOT a mafia in this game. I make no promises that the game is balanced, but I do hope I made it something you guys can enjoy.
