What's with the new search restriction?

I tend to play speed games all day long, which means every few minutes I need to search on speed games. Today I'm getting this stupid "Tpp many submissions of the same request. Find change your search or try again later." message. Why?

I think it's a bug.
There's a thread in the bug forum if you want to post in that.
