MV's 1v1 Round Robin Teams 3[TPA3](WINNER: whakamole)

This is a Tournament Players Association Year 3 (TPA3) event, and is governed by its rules, guidelines, and judgments which are detailed at http://www.conquerclub.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=89&t=175675.
All are welcome to join and participate in the association. You need do nothing more than join one or more of the TPA3 events that will be announced each Monday. Check back on the scoreboard to see how you're doing:
Sorry about this being the third straight 1v1 tourney for TPA3. That being said, I need 32 players, 4 captains and 28 other players for this tourney.
This is going to be a round robin, but you will only face the players not on your team. How do you get the teams? The captain will take all the players that signed up (minus the other captains) and rank them in a list when I ask for them after sign ups. Using random.org, the captains will be seeded 1 through 4 into a snake draft. So the order to draft will be team 1, 2, 3, 4, 4, 3, 2, 1, 1 and so on. The captain will get the highest available player on their list. So yes, everyone needs to be listed. Also note that this is the only thing the captain does in this tourney.
Once the teams are split up, you will not face the players on your own team. There will be 1v1 games against every other player on the other teams and the team with the best combined record will move on. That team will then play a round robin among themselves. The best 4 records will move on, and a double round robin among the finalists will take place. The winner will have the best record in that final double round robin round.
8 games will be played at a time. I will send out 8 games a week. Each set of games will be against 1 division.

Standard
Escalating
Sunny
No Trench
I will be applying for a GA medal as well:
MVP--This goes to the player that has the best record in the first round
[spoiler=summary]Round 1—4 teams of 8 picked by captains in automated snake draft, 24 games, 1 each against every player not on your own team. Best team moves on. Best record wins GA Medal
Round 2—Round robin among winning team. Best 4 move on.
Round 3—Double round robin among the final 4. Best record is the winner.[/spoiler]

2-4—Other Finalists arranged by record
5-8—Semifinalists arranged by record
9-32—Everyone on the 3 teams that didn’t make the semifinals will be arranged by record. I don’t want to penalize a good player for being on a bad team so a 20-4 player on the worst team will finish higher than a 4-20 player on the best team.
If possible, tie breakers will be head to head records. If there is a three way tie or more, which is completely possible, I might resort to a series of round robin tiebreaker games using the above settings. This even applies to finishing positions.[/spoiler]
