"Sometimes when you win, you really lose"[TPA2] - COMPLETE

This is a Tournament Players Association Year 2(TPA2) event, and is governed by its rules, guidelines, and judgments. All are welcome to join and participate in the association. You need do nothing more than join one or more of the TPA2 events that will be announced each Monday. Check back on the TPA2 scoreboard in the Tournaments--> General Info forum to see how you're doing.
Welcome all to the February 13th event for the Tournament Players Association Year 2. This bracket style tournament will consist of 32 doubles teams. Each round you will play a best of 3 against your opponent, the winner advancing. Freemiums are welcome, but you MUST have 3 slots open at the time games are sent out.
Each team will choose 4 different (a team can't choose the same map more than once) maps from the list of maps on the site (below). The same map can be chosen multiple times and will be entered into the drawing as many times as it's chosen. All the maps will then be placed in a pool and and the three games for each matchup will be randomly chosen from the overall pool of maps.
Here's where the winners lose. If your team wins by a score of 2-1, one of your chosen maps will be removed from the draw, the map determined by a random draw. If your team wins 3-0, then all of your chosen maps remain in the draw. In other words, for each loss in the tournament, one of your maps will be removed from pool. Here's the kicker: If one map is chosen multiple times, and happens to be randomly chosen for elimination, that map will be eliminated completely from all matchups, regardless of whether or not a team that won 3-0 also selected it, so choose your map carefully. The more times a map is chosen, the higher the chance of it being eliminated.
The Finals will consist of a best of 7 matchup (4 games sent out first, then the remaining 3). If your team makes it to the finals with any of your chosen maps remaining in the pool, you will be guaranteed a game on as many maps as you have remaining, your choice (but not the same map multiple times). If you reach the finals without any maps remaining, all 3 of your home games will be randomly chosen from the list of unselected maps. The 7th game will be chosen from the list of unselected maps as well.
The settings for every game will be: Auto, Sequential, Escalating, Chained, Foggy, 30 round limit.
At signup please post who your partner will be and choose four maps from the list below. I will update the thread as often as possible to show which maps have been selected and how many times.
