Bicyclists are a real problem where I live; the large local liberal city promotes bikers' attitudes of "owning the road"....they piss and moan about having equal road rights yet also feel they can blow through red lights and a host of other illegal (for vehicles) maneuvers. They are constantly getting hit by vehicles / light rail as well, which always elicts a huge outpouring of public sympathy....even though they're hit because they're breaking laws......whatever.

I HATE bikers who think they own the roads! They want to bike in your lane and pretend they are a car, and then they run red lights and dont even use their hand signals! Bicyclists are a huge problem here in Minnesota, even thought we have built them thousands of miles of bike path, they still use the road. Now our new governor created a "government biking agency" we have that new program with the ugly yellow bikes that people can just pick up and leave everywhere, and even expanded that into a free helmet program (even though we are cutting back on teachers) and now the head of the new bike agency has 2 deputies and himself gets paid 6 figures starting.

His new brilliant idea? Build bike lanes down the middle of Saint Paul and Minneapolis streets.

Bingo. One of my best buds is getting sued by a bicyclist for "Harassment" - biker turned illegally in front of my buddy through an intersection, almost causing an accident. Bud yells at him and biker stops in the middle of the street, stopping traffic, to scream back. Bud spits on him on his way by....lmao.

Week later he gets a subpoena for the court action, complete with loogie-stained spandex as evidence and a 7 page whine about the poor, abused bikers...oh man.....classic. Attorney says it will be thrown out

Seemed like those bicyclists were obeying all laws...they weren't riding in the road or anything, they were on the shoulder. I think the douche driving the diesel was just being a dick, because for some reason he thinks it's funny to blow smoke all over people. Seriously what's the point? What does that achieve?

I only ask because while I don't ride a bicycle, I do ride my motorcycle nearly every day, and for some reason those fucking fake rednecks think it's funny to do that shit to me. These people must live fucking sad lives when they go out of their way to maneuver into my line and release smoke, not to mention the potential traffic hazard. Luckily I can just zip around them, but sometimes I'm unable to and get a lungful of smoke.

Anyway, it's annoying.

I hate bikers. I don't have to deal with them too often on the road thankfully but when I'm on campus they ride around like they own the place. It's a good day for me when a biker almost clips me only once while I'm walking to class (I have been clipped more than once). The worst part is when I'm intentionally walking on the right side of the path and leaving them plenty of room on the left to pass, they like to choose the skinny side to pass and vice versa...

why are you treating bikers like they're all the same? i bet most pedestrians and vehicle drivers are assholes too, they just don't get the chance to show you like bikers do.

When I used to ride my bike all the time I had plenty of respect for something that could kill me. I would hug the right side of the road and try to stay out of the way with cars driving by. It seems common sense escapes a lot of bikers these days.

I agree the bicycle laws are kind of broken. Bikes and cars shouldn't be treated the same and sharing the same road space, but that doesn't make it ok to be a complete fucking douche bag.

It's too bad that vids like these will further reinforce the image of diesel engines as very polluting machines geared towards big trucks, in Europe diesels have practically taken over their car markets as they are clean and get better mileage than gas engines. they're also much easier to drive than they used to be and have plenty of torque.

No I wear regular clothes, just a nice riding jacket that makes me visible. I ride a yamaha fz1:



like so, only different paint job and exhaust pipe, but around my location it's only "cool" to ride ugly, fat, and slow hogs and where leather jackets and chaps. So if you ride anything not American like yamaha or honda, then people f*ck with you. My stepmom had her yamaha r1 run over by a truck while it was in a parking lot, and the guy (presumably) left. We figured it was intentional.

And btw I'm not too fond of bicyclists either, especially when they're riding around in a manner that clearly is dangerous with heavy motorized vehicles driving around, but I don't f*ck with them. I may yell at them on occasion when they pull stupid shit in the middle of traffic, but I don't pull dick moves.

I play CC...slowly. I usually only have 1 or 2 games going.
