WELL THEN. A special liquid that provides oxygen and nutrients...I wonder how long it lasts.

hm. I count four turtles in that picture. And they've been exposed to some weird liquid.

Step 1 complete.

As for step 2, is any user here a master of martial arts who lives in the sewers?

Is there anybody who is a master of martial arts who has a pet rat (which we will expose to the strange liquid)?

Turtles don't breathe underwater... the vendor should be sealed in a bag
and provided with some of his own miracle "oxygen & nutrients."

I would buy a few of the turtle ones (at $1.50 each), cut the bag open, and keep them in a gold fish bowl. :)

If these are aimed at kids, these would last less than a day. What if they have a bunch of books and then they throw their bag down on the keychain? This wasn't thought out very well.

Whoever's selling those things didn't intend the critters to live very long. In fact, the faster they die the better, because then the kids will buy a new chain every week.

yeah, ever see Nemo? people would walk and shake the bag and the fish would get dizzy and die. And plus, why would you confine a sea creature to such a small space?
truthfully, if they were all dead, I'd be more ok with it, but the fact they're still live makes me feel sorry for them.
just another marketing venture gone awry i guess (or not?)

That's a truthful yet morbid way to look at this.

Capitalism!

I was looking at this from the "killing animals" standpoint.

In this case, killing animals is good for consumption and drives demand.

Capitalism! Yay!

That(animals dying) would only be the case when you idiots didn't let them out of the bag after a week and keep em as pets.

Maybe a government agency should be created to assist you with this seemingly impossible task.
