Who will be the Super Bowl Champions?
Welcome to my first LxDS Super Bowl! This will be a big tournament consisting of 16 regular LxDS Tournaments, all in one super tournament. For serious, committed doubles teams only!

Tournament Set-Up
[spoiler=tournament set-up]We will play with 16 doubles teams and we will play 16 standard brackets on 16 different maps. There will be 8 spots reserved for teams that have won a standard LxDS Tournament (see signing up, below). All the brackets will be seeded, the 8 winning teams that claim a reserved spot will not face each other in the first rounds. The other 8 teams will be placed random. The brackets are all elimination style, best of 3 games. If you win you’re through to next round, if you lose you’re out (per bracket). I plan to start the next bracket when the first round of the previous bracket is finished.
You will score points for every round you advance per bracket. The scoring is simple:
Round 4 is the final of each bracket, so if you win that you win the bracket. The scores are not accumulative, for example: If you win round 3, but lose in the final, you receive a total score of 8 points.
Every team gets to pick one favorite bracket in advance. Points won in your favorite bracket will be doubled! More than one team can chose the same bracket.
The team with the most points, after playing the 16 brackets, will be the first LxDS: Super Bowl Champions![/spoiler]

Tournament Set-Up

Signing Up
[spoiler=signing up]
- I have reserved 8 spots for teams that have won a standard LxDS Tournament. To claim your spot both members of the team need to confirm in this thread. A PM has been sent to all winning teams.
- Contrary to my normal sign-up rule, for this tournament both players on the team need to be an officer (i.e., have 1600+ points at sign up). This requirement is waived for teams that won a standard LxDS Tournament and claim a reserved spot.
- Minimum attendance rate: 97% of turns taken.
- Sorry, only premiums.
- No signing up in advance, first come first go, no exceptions.
- Teams have to sign up in this thread and the partner has to confirm.
- I will NOT hold a spot if you do not sign up with a partner by name and/or if your partner does not confirm within 24 hours of your post.
- You can also sign up as a reserve player or reserve team.
- I reserve the right to deny any player entry in this tournament (see below).

Rules & Notes
[spoiler=General LxDS Tournament Rules and Additional Notes]Notes:
- Once the invites for the games have been sent, you have 48 hours to join your games. If you fail to do so, the game may be registered as a loss for your team. If you need more time to join your games, please send me a pm and I'll see what I can do.
- If you find yourself without a partner during an ongoing round*, your team will lose all 3 games and your opponents will move on to the next round (or win the bracket if it’s the final round). If you find yourself without a partner in between rounds or brackets, you are allowed to sign up a new partner as long as the replacement player is an officer. Important: After bracket 12, I will still accept replacements, but there will have to be a very good reason.
- Reserve teams will only be brought in between brackets and they will start at zero. If there is no reserve team available, we will work with byes in the first round of the affected brackets.
*For any team a round is ongoing from the moment the game invites are sent until the round is decided. - Account sitting is allowed, as long as it is done in accordance with the Conquer Club guidelines.
- The team that wins the round should post their win in this forum thread.
Additional Notes:
- I reserve the right to remove a player or a team from my tournament if I have a reason to do so. That reason could be:
- Breaking my tournament rules.
- Breaking Conquer Club rules and/or guidelines.
- Unsportsmanlike conduct.
- Anything that disrupts the flow of my tournament. - I promise:
- To run my tournament as honestly and fairly as possible.
- To run my tournament in a timely manner.
