Democrats go Home with Note from Mommy

Before Senate Democrats headed out of Washington, DC to campaign and to face their angry constituents, a meeting was held on Wednesday to "pump up" the team. As they each left the love fest, they were given a "message card" or talking points to share with the voters. Apparently, the Democrats are in such disarray that they can no longer think for themselves. What's even worse is that if they plan on talking about what's on their talking points, this election will be a slam dunk... for the other guys.

No. 1, Democrats will create jobs by getting businesses to make products in America.

No. 2, Democrats will stop tax breaks for big corporations who ship American jobs overseas.

No. 3, Democrats will protect Medicare and Social Security from Republicans who want to eliminate them.

Bobby didn’t mention this but do I smell that burnt aroma of protectionism in the air? “I have become death; the destroyer of economies.” Message to Obama Llamas … Government Motors makes a whole lot of stuff overseas!

^ What does Palin have to do with this? I know she's one of your favorite strawmen, but she's not even in office anymore...

I guess months and months of media bias against Palin are still talking their toll lmao.

I was just wondering who really believes that such a protectionist stance is somehow beneficial for the US.

Just because the White House says a thing should be promoted does not mean it should be done.

Does the idea of Sarah Palin in charge of this nation seriously not scare the ever-living shit out of you? Honestly? If it doesn't, I'm very disappointed.

Dude, the original poster is the one that brought her up.

That was a sidenote that didn't really relate to the topic. I just find it hilarious that people try to find a way to switch the topic to Palin so they can get a cheap laugh while avoiding the actual issue.

Well, there's not really an issue being brought up here I don't think... and Republican's twice championed an incompetent named George Bush, yet somehow still think that they are smarter than the nation's Democrats. Furthermore, Republican's also championed Palin, and she has made herself infamous for her inability to campaign outside of the talking points her handlers gave her. Both talking points and Palin were brought up in the op.

But I completely see where you're coming from j9b.

Good move deleting that post, ViperOverLord...how you have managed to believe I'm a fan of Obama, I cannot imagine.

I could see how a Marxist would especially want Obama over Palin in 2012.

Sarah Palin would be far less scary than four more years of Obama, although that is like saying a Toyota Tercel is a performance upgrade from a Yugo. Hopefully we can find a McLaren to win the Republican nomination, not a Tercel.

The media did a pretty good job in ruining her, ala dan quayle. She might be able to come back, but I'm afraid the social programming was far too effective this time.

You're right to an extent. However there are some factors in her favor this time around:

1. Thanks to multimedia: the liberal media does not have a monopoly, though they have reached epic levels of subversion, arrogance and unethical operation.

2. The economy sucks balls worse than it ever has. And ya'll heard of that talking point from Obama - "I inherited the worst economy since the Great Depression.' Well first off that isn't true because the Carter economy was much worse. But second, he's made the worst economy since the Great Depression.

Personally, I'm not rooting for Palin to get the Republican nomination. But I am sick of all the lemmings calling her or Beck or whoever else they hate an idiot and whoever likes them an idiot by association. I've had it with that shit and I've got something to say to anybody that takes that arrogant position.

No the idea of Palin being president doesn't scare the living shit out of me. The idea of Obama fucking up America like he has certainly scares the living shit out of me. What's Palin supposedly going to do? Take real unemployment from 20 to 30 percent (which she won't do - employment will improve)? C'MON! We've already entered the scared the living shit out of me zone.

No, it does not. I would prefer someone else, but I can't see any reason to be afraid.

Why does it scare the ever-living shit out of you?

There are better bowel clensers on the market, you know.

I can't speak for Woodruff, but for myself, it kinda scares me to have someone like Palin in charge of our nation. Why? Because she comes off as a bimbo nitwit. She seems to be quite ill-suited for politics. The only thing she has going for her is her looks, and she's not even that great-looking. ( Granted, if she ever came up to me and offered it up, I would hit that with the might of nations. :D ) She just honestly seems to have no brain. I am not a fan of Hillary at all, but I would rather have her than Palin as president. And the only reason I bring her up is to use another female politician for comparison, has nothing to do with left/right. To me, she seems like one of those high school cheerleader/prom queens. Great fun to look at, great fun to molest, but not great fun to sit there and try to hold an intelligent conversation with. I couldn't imagine the looks we would get from most of the other countries out there if Palin ever became president. :-s
