Why did you need a new thread?

Is posting info that people think there is a problem with the dice info other than people think there is a problem with the dice.

If I make a thread asking if people think there are UFO's people will post they do. Is that really info?

If I make a thread asking if people think there is a God people will post they do. Is that really info?

If I make a thread asking if people think there is a Loch Ness monster people will post they do. Is that really info?

Statistically, the dice are random. If you dont like random dice, well thats something different. Posting that you think they aren't random however is just a public opinion poll.

AAFitz had a good point. Do you know how many "dices suck!!!111" threads we get every week, with no one asking for them? What do you expect will happen when you deliberately post a thread asking people to whine about their dice?

You are not going to find "evidence" against the dice this way. So how do you suppose people are to take this thread seriously?

i have to defend anyone who complains about the dice because im one of the biggest whiners on the website

Lol, well, Ive logged some complaints myself..though I think its only after seeing so many, so often that I have somehow been converted to a dice complainer.

My only point here though is that posting we dont like the dice, just isnt really useful info.

its so easy, and i might just do it.... but just take defensive die only. add them up (each pair of 2) each frigging time you attack someone.. record those numbers. After a power of say only 50 records, you should get a perfect, pretty, nice little bell curve. But instead of proving the allegations, people just complain.

This is the bell curve. After 50 records of double thrown defensive dice you should get this. If you dont at 50 go to 100 records... If it still doesn't look like this graph at 100, then you are right.. the dice are not random.


this is under the assumption that the defense dice are just as "whacky" as the offensive dice. Which I have heard complaints both ways so I assume that everyone or at least the dice complainers feel this to be so.

Actually not hitting that graph after only 100 rolls would certainly not prove random or not. Random need not follow exact predictions....they are random.

After 1000 no doubt and after 10000 near guaranteed to hit that.

I play a little game called caton... a lot. And every game with only about 40 rolls It hits almost exactly.

You know, numbers generated by computer algorithms (pseudo-random) are far more likely to hit that bell curve, since they are not truly random, they only imitate random, so they are far more predictable.

When you have truly random numbers, which have no predictable element, it is possible that you get your bell curve in 25 rolls, but then again it may take you 5000 rolls to get there, because random = unpredictable.

The diff. between real and computer randomness is minuscule or its suppose to be so small you can never detect it by physical means.

Go ahead, grab 2 dice... roll them.. tell me how long it takes for you to see a bell curve.

Ive met you before. You are just one of these people that have to be negative and complain. Right now you resent anyone that might f*ck up your fine cheese and whine over dice.
