I want to compile a list of players interested in having speed tourneys. All you have to do is post here and I will add you to my tournament players list. From time to time I solicit my tourneys and I will also use this list to send out on nights I am planning a speed tourney.
For now I am planning on running these on Tuesday nights at 7pm Eastern.

In the words of the famous Churchill. Ohhh yes. Might be a little on the early starting side for me, but my work allows me to be somewhat flexible.

I do not think freemiums can play though due to the restrictions on Speed games--sorry

Sorry to all of the players that will never read this--It was moved from general discussion to T-Q&A and will most likely never be read by very many players at all. I guess I am just wasting my time trying to put together what many think is a great concept.

No matter where you post, the best way to get a response is to send out feelers to players in your tournament. Ask question about what would make the tournament work for them. Look at all the responses and get a feel for what you need to do. I would defiantly give a week for sign ups, and alert everyone a day or two before the start of the tournament.

I'm a speed freak so I would like to play. Depends on length of the games I suppose and such. But I would try to be in.

All done and I have decided to post the week before.

I am no longer a tightwad. I was just waiting a couple of days to make sure my vacation being over wasn't a dream before I splashed the cash

I don't think NS is targeting me. He has his views on what a tourney should be. We have had communication issues between ourselves in the past and that is it. NS has his views on what tourneys should be like and wants to make tourneys better. I do believe he is working with many tourney organizers to make the rules good for everyone. I also believe he has taken my views into consideration while they work through the details.
