in the spirit of valentine's morbidity et al, what do you, dear CC'er, think to be the most horrific way to pop 'dem clogs?

i'm gonna go with falling from height.

flying off a luge track on the last turn would kinda suck too though.

Falling has to be the best! People do that all the time just for the thrill, though I imagine being terrified would make it less fun. In the end though it would be painless so I don't see how you choose that.

Anything slow and torturous would be much much worse.

Oh, I dunno. Being eaten alive by piranha, or having someone feet first you slowly into a fire would suck.

Being chained to a tree, with your belly slit and a foot or so of intestine left to dangle for the foxes would be a less than appealing end.....

That is 20 different kinds of awesome.

Being crushed by a weight that is slightly more than you can lift off you has to be in this photo. Imagine you are doing a leg press with like 1,700 pounds and you can lift 1,695, but there is no one in the gym and the leg press pushes your legs into your chest, you are convinced you can lift it so while you could get out from under it if you start soon enough, you don't, you push and strain, consuming oxygen faster than a forest fire, you move the weight slightly, not enough to breath and it finally after 20 or more seconds settles back to the bottom position pushing your legs into your chest, you are actually suffocating, your lungs burn as if someone put red hot pokers into them, your head pounds from the blood flow as your heart rate soars to its max, your legs feel as if they are going to sleep as the lactic acid builds from the anerobic activity, finally after what seems like a lifetime the merciful blackness comes as you pass out from oxygen deprevation.

The Stick and Bucket Dance is probably the most efficient choice, and also likely to cause a lot of collateral damage.

Getting your balls stuck in a blender and dying from the blood loss would be #1 or somewhere near.

In my view, I suspect drowning would be the worst, followed closely by burning to death. I've always imagined that drowning is extremely painful and not necessarily quick. Same with burning, but the nerve endings at least get burned so then the pain may stop. I'd prefer not to find out for certain in either case, of course.

Or, on the other hand, being forced to listen to Jay drone on endlessly, causing you to die from stupidity inundation.

btw drowing is very peaceful after the first 30 seconds....if you dont srtuggle ive heard its one of the easiest ways to die

you're supposed to struggle i think. the lungs fill with water when you gasp for air, after that it's a matter of seconds. supposed to or not, i guess it's just a bodily reaction and there's not much you can do about it anyway

My worst would be trapped in a cave-in, suffocating slowly. ( I'm somewhat claustrophopic)

Yeah I'd take drowning over strangling or other types of asphyxiation. When you drown it's over when you give up and breathe in. If you are strangled it's not over until your body shuts down - more suffering and struggling.

Crucifixion is a lot worse than anything listed so far IMO

Worst way to die actually would be of old age, lying on your death bed slowly wasting away and realizing you never accomplished anything in your life, never had the guts to pursue your dreams.
