I defy anyone to produce a real world scenario in which 2 beat 11.
that's all I have to say.

If i had the time, and could throw the amount of dice that have been chucked on this game since the beginning, i would. And i'm sure i'd have a pretty good chance to

I have seen 3 (2 attack dice) take down 9.
I would be highly surprised if 2 (1 attack dice) managed to take down 11...but then this is the wacky world of cc.

On reflection, wasn't there a game some time back where one player almost managed to clear the board on his first turn? This would have necessitated a series of wins with 2 attackers (so 2 dice) against a bunch of 3 defender territs.

My big sister and I were walking down the train tracks when 11 thugs approached and demanded our souls. We fought them off with martial arts, the banana in my sister's lunch bag and with a tenacious desire to get to the other side of the tracks. It's true. It happened. We won.

There isn't one.
The sooner you accept that the dice are fucked, the sooner you start to refine a strategy that includes that factor in your play. The wins will follow.
Unless your a speed doodle addict like yours truly then you are banished to the stripers catagory for the rest of your C.C. life.

http://hubpages.com/hub/Legends-of-Texa ... offee-HaysRead down to the part where 14 men fight off 200. That is about 14.3 to 1, or 28.6 to 2 just to compare to your 2.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Battle_of_IsandlwanaHere's another one, this was on the other side of the world, but coincidentally in the same time period.
I looked for things like the battle of Issus, but historians no longer think that the Persians actually had 600,000 or even 400,000, still Alexander was no doubt out numbered. I'll try to find some more for you when I have more time.

It happened on my 2nd turn in this game: 6445899
11 of my men vs. 2 neutrals. I lost all 11 men, neutrals lost none, and, no, I didn't use auto assault.

2 beating 11 is much different than 11 losing to 2 (with dice) You should have stopped when you got to 3v2

that is a real world scenario
at the same time, I believe it is more likely you are making a mistake than a 2 actually having beat a 9
and dont take that the wrong way...what I mean is...I agree the odds of a 2 killing a 9 are ridiculously small...to the point where I barely believe it happened...even though, it obviously would happen, if enough people actually tried to do it. Hell...it might even happen the first time someone tried...regardless of the odds that are on the rather minute side.
Right up there with the real life examples of people winning the lottery with infinitesimal odds: Twice.

I'll try again, because citing equivalent CC examples of the dice absurdity is not what I originally posed. Nor is citing the outcomes of historical sword and armor battles.
I defy anyone to produce a REAL WORLD scenario where 11 beats 2.
Meaning, take 2 human beings, give one 3 dice; give the other 2 dice and try to get the result where 11 beats 2.

I'm pretty sure 11 beats 2 quite a lot.

It depends on how well the 2 are at killing people with their dice. Maybe one shot to the head with them and they'd die or something....

Another post where someone is bitchin' about their dice.
We are now up to 157863 unique threads about the "bad dice" here.
(Yes that is a made up number.)
Please read my reply to earlier post on this subject...
viewtopic.php?f=6&t=108977If you sat thousands of groups of people down and had them roll dice over and over in the scenario you mention for a couple days... you will likely get that result a few times over.
This is essentially what another/earlier poster said... but he didn't spell it out for a 5th grader.
