Conquer Club

I'm in my 30's, a teacher in Thailand. I play Risk with some of my students (good for teaching geography as well as developing tactical thinking) and they enjoy it.

I told them about ConquerClub not really expecting any of them to join as: 1) they are Thai and don't know English all that well.
2) they're kids (aged 10 - 13).

A few weeks after, one of my students told me that he joined ConquerClub and has been playing. He told me his User Name. I checked and, sure enough, there he was. Completed 8 games... even won 1. Some dude out there got beat by an 11-year-old Thai kid.

If we got 11-year-old kids who don't even speak English winning games, just how young do the members here get?

my son plays, and he's 10 (he was playing at 9). currently on 1114 pts

and if I'm losing I act like a 10 yr old

i know a few 17 and 18 year olds who play.
I also know the afore mentioned 10 year old.
Mainly because he is that much better than me

There should be an age field on the player profiles.

I act like my monster 3 year old frequently...LOL!! Look at the answers in the "How old are you" thread in the mess hall......from my standpoint, almost all young people!

nice flame there gizzle but yes gizzle is 10 years old and he loves listening to and watching Elton John and he likes to play his x-box 360 that he got from mommy and daddy for christmas

My 10 year old is a member ...My 6 yr. old wants one...but he is not quite ready.

funny story - 10 yr old assumed everyone has the basic membership with 4 games allowed. One day looking over my shoulder asks "why is your name on so many games? Is something wrong?" Wife speaks up and says in a wife voice about how Dad has a Premium membership

He know wants one for Christmas ..of 2006 - He doesnt want to wait until '07

Hahaha! I don't need to renew mine until June. I got so I would be less bored during the summer.

I'm not suggesting that any of us is specifically a predator, but isn't that a bit dangerous? Of course, the predators are usually lurkers...

Im 16 but my friend Ronlado is 7

my 13 year old son is an avid player and has been as high as captain.

AAFitz, you've lost to him before in a 3 player game, should I get you a box of Kleenex?
