I got it now...

scenario 1: Hider hides behind player A. Hider is targeted. Hider escapes

scenario 2: Hider hides behind player A. Player A is targeted. Both Hider and Player A die.

Yes, just to clear some confusion up, I'm taking quotes from the movies in the night scenes to give them a bit more flavor. Will probably do them in day scenes too. Any italicized text has nothing to do with the game in general, I just try to find some quotes appropriate to the killed person.

This is how I read it. Attacker 1 failed to kill random guy (doesn't look like a doc save though). Attacker 2 (agent smith based on the inevitable line) targeted cowboyz and was successful in killing him.

The italics I think is taken from mifune's last words when he was killed in the 3rd? movie.

I agree. This seems to be the best translation. I also think it's interesting that someone from Zion shows up as non-VT, especially after Locke came up VT. I would have thought that everyone from Zion would then be VT. Makes me think it's possible that there are other characters not from Zion that could be VT. Other than that I'm not sure where to start today. I'll have to take a closer look when I have more time.

I don't think Mifune was natural born Zion. The matrix wiki page lists mifune as his hacker name which means he can get into the matrix. Tank and zee don't have hacker names so natural born Zion can still equal VT.

Ah, gotcha. I haven't seen the movies in years so don't remember the small details.

i wonder if it's the same attacker that missed his target on night 1&2....
too bad we can't hear from cowboyz, but my guess is that he didn't do anything on night 1. my intuition is that the SK is the one that missed both nights and the mafia did both kills?

also, why would they target cowboyz? i think it could be interesting to look back at what he said or voted for; might find stuff that mafia found dangerous for themselves.

I dont think the Vigi kill was attempted yet. From the scene it was the same attacker twice. First appeared as a doc save, the second does appear as a hider. I think this is the mafia's attempted kill.

I think Agent Smith is a 3rd party SK, he is a rogue agent in the movie (we suspected he could be a cult because he had cloning abilities) he performed a kill last night.

The italics, just seem to be actual quotes from the movie relating to the characters in the scene who died. Night 1 was a quote from Morpheus who died.

Just trying to unfog the night so far

If it was a hider wouldn't the person he hid behind have been killed?

lol ya the hider dies if the person he hid behind dies

A lot of you I think are confusing the suits. Smith(sk), aka dark suit 2 has killed twice. The agents(scum) aka dark suit 1 have failed to kill twice. White suit (seraph) was the first target for the agents, but there is nothing to explicitly suggest that they chose the same target again.

how would you know that? what possible evidence in saf's scenes can make you come up with those conclusions?

The fact the 1st attacker was disappointed again implies he is the same person that the doc stopped night 1.

The fact that the 2nd attacker used the term inevitable implies he is agent smith (who many people think would be SK). Since attacker 1 has missed twice, smith must be responsible for killing both freezie and cowboyz.

I do agree that cowboyz didn't target anybody either night.

I've already contributed my thoughts on flavour.

I'm going to start off by FOS S7C. Based on yesterday for sheeping Leehar. I don't think its vote worthy but its a starting place.

This is just some random observations I'm making as I go through and reread this game. Some might be relevant while some might turn out to be nothing. At worse this is for my own summary of what's happening in the game so far.

Day 1: Jak seems to be in a really big rush to "weed out the inactives"

Doom points out that there were 3 main band wagons going on in the joke stage and wants to consolidate them

The band wagons were
doom(2)- dazza,shield
Neb(4)- Skillfu, eldario, spart, neb
cowboyz(3)- doom, , MoB(everywhere(moved from doom) and JD quickly move here after vote count done on p. 15)

Nothing really came of those bandwagons and talk turned to lynching the inactive which were Iron Butterfly and Roussalier in this case.

At this point Neb still had the most points even after the inactives were prodded. Iron admitted to being around but just avoiding the game b/c he hates day 1. Rous never responded so was replaced by clever.

Neb(6)- Skillfu, eldario, spart, yoshi, everywhere, Neb
granted this never did wind up going anywhere, but it wouldn't surprise me if we found some scum all tied in on this lynch since at this point no one really had more than 2 votes(IB) at this point. Neb wants to just go ahead and get someone pressured so at this crazy decides to join the bw. Following that Dazza also joins in. Mob also feels free to join the bw. Edic and IB join the bw on back to back posts. Neb says he'll claim at l-2 so he unvotes and clever takes the place with a vote. Neb claims Tank Vanilla townie and points his SFOS at Edoc and Mob while also FOS at Freezie, Leehar, betiko, eldario, spartacus, ghostly, and sound all of this concludes on page 20.

I am tempted to ask jak and doom's roles (character names) to make sure they make sense that they would be linked as masons (as i talked about in a previous post). Would that be appropriate or would i just be rehashing the tank is a vanilla townie debate in a different form?

You'd be doing the tank VT again. Besides, one of us shall be picked off tonight or tomorrow by the mafia, so it should be obvious to town by then, until then the names are irrelevant unless you wish for more spam on what roles a name should have.

It's now day 3 and both you and doom are still here. Any chance you'd be willing to expand on your claim now?

Jak wants more information from Neb even after Neb makes his claim so that is a bit ridiculous since not much else to say other than his character name and role.

Hippo keeps flipflopping his votes although it is pointed out that he does that pretty often.

Jak explains that he thinks there is more to Neb than Neb is letting on, but isn't going to worry about it unless town as a group wants to go back on Neb.

Leehar goes after Jak for making some mistakes with math

P. 26 IB and Dazza go after Jak in that he seems to want to just get info instead of getting an actual lynch.

Jak counters that by saying he would rather the info to try to get a good lynch, but doesn't take into account that continueing to expose members for mafia might make it easier for them to go after certain individuals.

On p. 27 Neb brings a very good case against Jak. there is a bandwagon going on and i have to go for now up to page 30 on my reread

Aye, Vote S7C

I'm glad I didn't have to bring up the sheep part, because that is what I was discussing with Doom, S7C is a sheep in this entire game. He's contributed nothing besides restating or quoting things. He doesn't have his own opinion.

Yes, LSU, I wanted information, we were getting no where D1 and I for one wanted to go somewhere.
