In the case you're not, sculling is rowing with two oars; compared to sweep rowing where you row with only one (and have 1/3/7 others doing the same, an even amount of oars on either side of the boat).

I went kayaking once but that was just really boring. Really the only thing I like doing in the water is swimming. Boating (if kayaking, rowing, scrulling, etc. are considered boating) of any kind is pretty boring.

And it is pretty boring when it comes down to it, but it gets you super fit, and you make some really great friends (and im only doing a social season, if you go full retard you give up your biological family and adopt your new rowing family).

I was at the ren fare in New York this year. My first time.
It rained.
Then they closed the fare half way through the day because there was a tornado watch.
I think I spent more time going to and returning from the fare than I did at the fare.
Fortunately I got a feee ticket for next year.
