Not a chance... Suarez is dog-human hybrid :D

From my point of view Markez should not have risk that much(Robben was already fouled previously but stay on his feet).

But he was, for once he dove skillfully. Anyhow it was clumsy of the defender to put his foot out infront of him like that.
Where's Nietzsche? Has he survived this ordeal?

Gonna be difficult for Costa Rica to score on Grecce's tight defense, Grecce is not good, but I doubt Costa Rica can score when they're not going to be able to live on breakaways. Expect Grecce to play a tight boring game and win with 1-0.

That was such a slow shot, goalie had plenty of time to at least dive for it and he didn't bother to move.

Good thing the ref talked to the goalies about moving off the line because Navas just moved like three feet forward on that save

Happy for Costa Rica. They'll get killed by the Dutch, but just to be here is awesome for them.

They did win Euro 2004 and have been jammy in the World Cup to even get to the knockouts.

Felt sorry for the dude who missed though.

Why, was there no contact? Got what he deserved putting his foot in when Robben was going no where... silly play. No doubt Robben made the most of it but a lot of refs would have given it. Plus he was denied a clear pen in the first half when he went down to late.

Well that s exactly why I don t like them. They got till here the same way they won the euro, comming back from nowhere playing like shit, always 1-0 or eventually 2-1 if ever they receive a goal. Oh, and you probably forgot how they even managed to get a ticket for the world cup between their crappy qualifying phase and their crappy playoffs. They are consistently annoying.
Not this time! Well done costa rica. Losing on penaltys is what they deserved.

Mexico's coach made a mistake by taking Dos Santos out.. Holland felt comfortable to over press. Dos Santos would have forced them to be wary about a counterattack.

The same mistake made by Comobia's coach in 2006 when he was Argentina's manager. His team had a 1-0 lead over Germany and he refused to use his fast demons at the time... he had Messi, Saviola and Tevez.

The problem with world cup.. one mistake means you are out.

Apart from that, it's Sunday and I had to watch the shitty Greece vs. Costa Rica game to write the match report. Imagine how crap I have felt when the boredom extended to extra and penalties!
