I was thinking about this. I believe shm originally had the other key, but / came to possess it after shm was killed. And it's not like we need sully alive to retrieve the bonds, that combined with his apparent ability to cheat death makes me still willing to lynch him and remove a possible variable in the night actions.

Yes, it will.
If someone with a key is lynched- then the key will go to one of the other guests.
If someone with a weapon (wrench or revolver) is lynched- then the weapon will go to one of the other guests.
If someone with an ability to disarm the booby trapped is lynched- then that skill is lost forever. It cannot be transferred to anyone.
I think the most fair thing is to allow it go to the person who hammers.
Or, the first one to pm me, requesting to steal the key/weapon, after the lynch occurs.
Let me know which option you think is most fair, as I am fine with either one.

Well you only need one key. And we already have one. Really though, first PM and hammer are basically the same thing. The person who hammers on a key carrier probably can also shoot off a PM the quickest anyways, so to prevent logistical problem, I would say give it to the person who hammers.

I'm still confused as to how this game will play out.
After the lynch we divide ourselves in 5 pairs of 2? Is that it?
And whichever pair has key + map + disarming skills wins the bonds?

Mafia have enough players to get a lynch. As long as it goes to a mafia player (or whoever / chooses) I don't have a problem with it. But like I said, whoever hammers will probably send the PM first unless someone else is luckily also online.

Seems it would be fair for some sort of random draw from everyone who voted for the lynch.

I suppose I would personally vote for the hammerer to get the item, simply so we know who we should shoot in the head immediately afterwords should they pull something funny
I trust you all to the maximum extent a dirty cop can trust anyone with a large amount of money, but if you want to do this the ultra paranoid way, why don't safari, shield, and I unvote, (as the most active in the mafia).
If the mod could please prod gimli and daze, so they could place their votes and join in the discussion.Then we can time it so when three of us are online, (including prospective mafia, who can vote first to up the count one or two) then one of us current mafia can hammer.

Well I don't know if I like the sound of this plan, but I suppose options are slim. This game just seems made for a small subset to backstab the rest for the money (and I would presume victory). Also, I'm not sure if players deciding what the rules is entirely fair, but meh. What goes, goes.
But I have nothing, so if I get the key I won't exactly be in any position to make off with anything. Just putting that out there.

No, obviously we can't discuss this game outside of the thread, but what we need is for the rest of the mafia to vote Sully first, then we can guarantee that the last few votes will be mafia votes so one of us will get the key.

There are two win conditions to this game: Faction Win and War Bond Win.
I think it is no secret that The Ring Mafia has the faction win right now. The game is still continuing because the war bond win objective hasn't been reached yet. The war bond objective gives players another opportunity to win, even if they aren't in the winning faction.

How you divide yourselves is up to you. That is optional.
You need the keys, the map, and disarming skills. Which means it's a minimum group of three that finds the war bonds. So it's not going to be 5 pairs of 2. Not sure where that idea came from.
However there are still some kills left from all three sides (mafia, town and 3rd-party). Though it is quite unlikely that enough mafia members can be killed tonight to give a town/third party faction win, it can still happen. Also if a town member/s and a mafia member/s ally together to find the war bonds, they all have a chance to win. For instance, if two mafia members and a town member successfully find the war bonds- that town member wins along with the mafia faction.
No official winners will be rewarded until the warbonds have been found. At that point, the game will end.
I didn't want to say all this because I think it reaveals too much, but I think some clarification was needed. Hope this helps.

You will probably only be able to figure this out if you remember all of the scene stories from the beginning of the game til now.
So based on the results I get- i will group people up. From that point forward, you and that group become war bond masons for that night.
Also, you have a choice for weapons. This will be the last reminder about them.
