Well too bad for crasp... I understand better his qt thing with varys, but he was never very eloquent about it. We just know who varys is and that the discussions were extremely unproductive with that person. That person lied and said he/she was in king s landing while it s obviously not true by the way. Crasp kept on saying varys is scummy... But didn t give us any real evidence.
I have no problem to out varys if you guys want to.

Well player z (crasp) is now dead.
So to clear it up:

N1 I Watched crasp, saw player x visit him. I have played with crasp in our clan games so had a confident town read on him. Seeing as he had outed himself as a fairly useful town role I suspected he would be targeted. Player x visited him but in the morning crasp still lived so I assumed it was a doctor role that visited him having the same idea as me.

N2 I Tracked player x hoping someone would make an attempt and he would protect and I could finger them in the day. He visited Pershy, so I assumed (wrongly) that Pershy was also Town. Your post made me think that maybe crasp was also scum if player x in both our information is the same player and he can sniff out a scum in each city he visits. Hence why I pushed it so strongly, I was convinced of crasp's townness and wanted to be sure before I came forward.

N3 I Watched you Betiko in case anyone visited you to make an attempt, no-one did. I find that intriguing, why would the mafia target crasp when he wasn't a threat and you were?

My role is both watcher and tracker with limited uses and if Robik is telling the truth and he made an attempt on my life last night then I am out of resilience and will die at the next attempt.

I think it would have been safe to assume that I was visiting you.
Why didn't you track me? Or why didn't you watch yourself?

Here is the question though: how would you know who X is? How could you know we were talking of the same person? That s the flaw of your story.

Y tracked legionnare and he visited me. (Y does not control what he will learn at night). So this part adds up.

Basically, all your story adds up great, only that there is no way for you to know who X is, unless you can prove otherwise.

I had actually thought about this and said something along the lines of maybe I should start shooting people out of Braavos who I find scummy until I hit mafia and we have an extra town QT in Braavos where we would be able to discuss stuff without the fear of mafia knowing any extra info. The idea came from reading Hotshot's post on Page 5

With nobody killed from Braavos, I'm not sure how to read the "1/5." It looks like 1 out of 5 is anti-town... but I would have assumed there to be 6 folks living there. Does it mean 1 anti-town and 5 town? Or 1 anti-town, 4 town, and 1 other? Or are there truly just 5 folks in Braavos? Do you know?

Hum yep, good point. I had just read my qt with X s result, and I just mentionned it here the way he did. i assume he just gets told the amount of antitown, and he just made a small brain fart (which I also did by not noticing it) by adding the amount of player we know there and forgetting that there is still 1 unknown.

I find varys to be somewhat scummy as well. It's interesting that varys lied to crasp...I feel varys has been rather dodgy within our QT. Even lying about his/her city is such a small thing, and I wouldn't understand why. However, this seem to fit with mafia play this game...I would be happy to out varys and get a full claim...or perhaps we just have zivel deal with varys.

There have been three scummy/questionable actions in our Qt that I didn't like. Nothing huge. Nothing I could make a case of ...but it's really starting to add up against Varys with this new info.

I will hold off outting as well...until we hear more players ask for it.

I assumed x was the same in both our cases, I Tracked someone who visited Pershy, you say someone revealed in your City QT that they also tracked someone visiting Pershy. Perhaps two people visited Pershy that night and my assumption about my player x being a doctor/other protective role is correct and your player x is someone different. I don't know.

I'm interested in who Varys is if only to clear up if it the same person that I tracked visiting Pershy.

Really expected to die last night. Glad I didn't. Anyways, I will get back to what I think when I come back. Could post now but not enough time to really get my thoughts together the way I want them to.

i do think it's very weird that myself, bunnies and strike are all alive, considering we are supposed to be confirmed town. why keep 3 confirmed town alive, unless it was to medic dodge or something else is going on.

i was going to out my role name in the QT, but something just doesnt feel right and I want to make sure I understand that there is ABSOLUTELY no chance that bunnies or strike could be mafia or third party.

someone please ease my mine before i drive myself crazy with conspiracy theories!!

I think crasp makes a lot of sense. The dread fort is scum free and just has a third party (acording to our converstsions in the tread and X s results as well.) so the scum has no read of what has been going on in our town, at least not likely. This whole X and Y business has been a huge setback for mafia and a huge danger for today, definitely a bigger danger than king s landing.
Mtam probably outed who is in our town, but crasp was the only one who had openly claimed and who wasn t really challenged by town anymore, his power and his character seemed important enough to be mister X or mister Y. On my side, it was very likely that I would be protected and a tree stump is a strange thing to kill
So no, not surprised about crasp s death. I think I would ve chose the same.

No one is going to be able to step in and ease your mind in this situation. I'd guess that everyone in KL is town, but this game has too much intrigue to say much with 100% certainty.

One thing we do not know is whether or not Mr. X's power spots anti-town players with protection against checks, such as the mafia godfather. It is also possible the mafia possesses the power to spy on QT threads like Jonty (Margaery) could. There are probably numerous other scenarios that could result in information leaking out of a supposedly secure QT that no one has considered.

That said, even acknowledging the risk that "secure" QT's can be compromised, I think there is something to be said for sharing information in order to better track the remaining mafia members.

So what you are saying basically;
A) you were so sure that pershy could have only been visited by the same person, therefore, the person you had been following. So the guy you had been following and tracking for 2 nights was necesairly mister X, just because you think it s improbable that 2 people could visit the same person the same night.
B) your story only works if you are both tracker and watcher. So far, all characters have spot on roles. I would like you to give your character name to give a better flavour of all this.
C) I see no reason not to out varys. Crasp kept on saying how scummy she looked in the QT and she is a proved liar. Lord varys is....

Either you die tomorow, either robik is a liar. If you came up with X s name, I would buy your story. But if you are town you have no need to out a town to save yourself if you are already dead walking... If you are not, well robik is a liar and we can have this conversation tomorrow.

So i m fine with hearing from the secret qt people. I keep on seeing people report bad vibes from charm/varys. What s all this about? Also, crasp hasn t revealed much details about that secret qt...

There was a message from mister X, he confirms the result said 1/5 braavos, the he looked back at his night 2 result and it said 1/5 kings landing.... Wtf...?
Were you guys 7 in king s landing for starts and 5 in braavos? This doesn t make any sense.

As for Legionnare. I think he should reveal who he tracked. I don't see any other way. If he does and the information checks out than we have to at least consider he is telling the truth.

The 5 must be the total. I think the King's Landing one must be including Hotshot or perhaps goes with the starting number automatically.

No it doesn t add up strike. Mud puppy has a point.

It should ve said 1/6 braavos
