Pink Floyd was more album-based than song-based. That being said, Ummagumma, Dark Side of the Moon, Wish You Were Here, Piper at the Gates of Dawn, and A Saucer Full of Secrets are a few of my favorites.

The Wall was an alright album, but it was too much of a departure from the band's expertise in making music in order to address Roger Waters's personal problems for me to consider it a great Pink Floyd album. It was, however, the best Roger Waters album. A close second is The Final Cut, which, of course, features a catchy David Gilmore tune called "Not Now John."

EDIT: The best song is Echoes. The Studio version is on Meddle (which I should have ranked above Wish You Were Here), but I've always loved the rendition on Live at Pompeii.

I really was never fully into that band rev.. I mean sure its okay but after you hear it a million times from your neighbor you become sick.. Trust me I know because my neighbor Vance was heavily into it when they came out with different songs that played on the radio..I wish I could have chucked it in the woods like he did with my spice girls CD and my jewel tape..

Rap music is being listened to by 97% of teenagers, if you're one of the 3% of teenagers that actually listen to real music, then put this in your signature.

Well I haven't <cough> got a mobile phone at present, (I will one of these days), but by God, these iPods (=mp3 players?) are excellent. I only have 10 hours of music on mine yet, but I'm quite sure I can fill up the remaining 23 hours, once I go through my CD collection...

No, no, they aren't, OK? My earliest purchases were LP's, but I must have been the very last of the records buyers. The only thing that annoys me is that that most of my collection is tapes. One day, I will have to bow to the inevitable and throw them out....

Ipods and mp3players made music while travelling hip and accessible to all which is a very bad thing.
