On first impressions this is as glorious to play as I hoped! (probably lose me shed loads of points like Arms Race, but it'll be fun!)

First turn receives 4 armies for holding 7 Aryan Brotherhood
Then i Conquer 2 more Aryan Brotherhood members, next round begings i lose no territories before i start my turn....yet it still only says i hold 7 and not 9. I counted 3 times and i am 100% positive i have 9 members including the leader...

Randolf, wilhelm, gregor, kaiser, karl, max, tyler, arnie, james. Thats 9 and i'm 100% sure those are all Aryan Brotherhood members right?

Gregor and Tyler are the 2 i conquered on my first turn....so if i were to guess those 2 got messed up for the aryan brotherhood?

If you could look into it that'd be great, thanks.

Firstly, congrats on the quench!
Secondly, sorry I wasn't more involved when this map was in progress. But it appears that many of the army numbers are off-center. Not sure if this was already discussed in the thread, apologies if it was.
I suspect that maybe some of the army circles are an uneven number of pixels perhaps?
Regardless, this is a pretty badass map.

Might be a good idea to put a DISCLAIMER on it coz 1 vs 1 plays very badly indeed on it. COngrats though, might be funnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnn for 8 player escalating games :D

If I may be so bold as to answer Rom's dilemma, I think I'll try:

If I'm not mistaken, the bonus is only given out as additional gang members to the leader. So when you counted 5 and 9, it was really 4 and 8 because you were including the leader in your count of members. That may be wrong, there may actually be a glitch on the map, but they rarely get through quenching, so I'd think the problem is, no offense meant, on your end.

Yeah, I'm coming to realize that BOB is not a fan of the map. I had a bonus that BOB never saw fit to inform me of, even tho I could see it with my own two eyes...

Nevertheless, enjoying it thus far, and for those saying that this map is crap at 1v1, well, I'd have to respectfully disagree (unless I lose both my current games, that is... :lol: )

and inc, you might be counting wrong? because for the longest time i thought i had the +13 bonus for holding 12 of a gang, but then i realized that the boss doesnt count....

I'm with Incan on this - I have started second with smaller bonuses and still won (current record is 6 from 6) - it just seems most people are unused to playing 1v1s on large maps.

Which, of course, is not to say that one wouldn't be at an advantage going first.... :-^ :D

And yes, hulmey, ben crushed me. But he had a great drop, great first turn dice, went first, and he's universally acknowledged as one of the top 1v1 players on the site. Would've been the same result on Waterloo given those conditions. In fact, if you can show me a non-conquest map on this site where those set of circumstances wouldn't lead to getting crushed, I'll buy you a beer.
