FredVIII was given enough benefits and was even allowed to come back to CC. I think we've been more than generous, and he finally exhausted that generosity.

it's understandable but just give him a game chat ban and everythings solved. he's actually a great guy to play with and to chat with

Lmao. What rule does he break from getting his account taken over? And it was my understanding that this player was permitted to create another account, so no, not breaking a rule there either. And trolling there forum is the only thing I see wrong that Jeff Hardy/FredVIII has done, but if we are banning people for trolling, might as well ban have of our forum members. And swearing? I can name many many users who swear a ton more than FredVIII. So really, what rules has this player broken and how is swearing at other users exhausting CC's generosity?

I am sorry this ruling is just utter BS. In fact your rulings overall are dodgy at best. If we are going to start banning people from the forums / website due to lang, there are about 50 right off the top that can go. Inconsistent as ever if what we come to expect from CC. As for people blowing up in chat we all do it at times. Some a bit more violent than others. I will not name anybody but there are a few who really go much further than Fred did, and over many more games.

i am not allied to max i dont like fredd bc he was rude to me i had no problem with him for a long rime

i think it all a bit harsh
he lost his temper and didn't braek any rule
you can't let a guy in and not inform him of new rules that you make up as you go along

The swearing isn't even in forums, on either account. If you have a problem with swearing in game chat, it's a simple fix.

"Just add the user to your Ignore List."

The usual response from admins to accusations.

I hate to interject, but, this isn't a vacation for simply swearing. Of course, that's been proven allowable in past cases.

This is a case of irreparable damage to the community and the exhaustion of multiple warnings.

In fact, FredVIII has not once been warned for any abuse.

His Flames were indeed mild, but taking into account the culmination of everything of his past, both with FredvIII and the Jeff Hardy account (as mentioned, a Permanent Live Chat Vacation, a Permanent Forum Vacation, Account Sitting Abuse, and Numerous Warnings), the culmination of everything led to a Permanent Website Vacation.

Whenever anyone reaches a Permanent Vacation from the Forum or Live Chat, subsequent infractions may bump up to Permanent Website Vacations. Community Guidelines.

and then punish him for that. Even with the past warnings for other things. You cannot change the rules each time. Change them and use them in the next offence, but this is BS.

Permanent Forum and Live Chat Vacation were FredVIII's punishment for having his account taken over... which I can understand to limit the CC drama I guess, but taking that into consideration for Perma Banning a member of CC?

Account Sitting Abuse was totally bs, I know because it was pinned with me too. I babysat his account as anyone sits for someone else.

And numerous warnings? No, he didn't get any.

So really, no rules broken except trolling possibly, as I stated before. There are many users who deserve to be banned more than FredVIII.

The moderation has fallen off a cliff. You've dealt with this like you did DM — instead of "taking past into consideration," like you said, you've really let it take TOO much part in your decisions. In this case I think you've taken his bans and warnings from the past, and while I agree they should definitely play a part in a warning/ban's decision-making, you fail to take the CONTEXT and the infraction ITSELF into equal consideration. This is something that has come up repeatedly, mostly recently, and the appropriate response always shows itself: "Foe and rate accordingly" has come up. But here, when this same situation comes up, you've looked into the past too much and really said, "Oh, you've gotten banned before — we don't like you!" The same thing happened with DM.

In the very rule set you quote, there's this:
