Me and my wife loss a boy that was born premature.

I held him in my hands as his last breathe left his tiny body.

That one experience traumatized me more than any bad thing I have experienced since.

The thought of anyone killing their own child on purpose is simply beyond my ability to comprehend.

Its not neccesarily killing thier child. A mother might not want their child to grow up without a father, if that happens to be the case, or any of a bunch of other circumstances. I'm not saying it's an honorouable thing to do, but it is somethign that a mother has a right to do. It also isn't as emotional as in your case, gerazan, since they haven't become as emotionally attached to the baby. If they have, and they still bring themselves to do what they believe is the best option then it can be a very difficult decision.

I declare a snappy-comeback-off!

Conservative - A person who is deathly afraid that someone, somewhere might be content with their lives.

FEMINIST - A belief that women do not need men at all. Men are just a minor setback to a world dominated by women.

Well, being a submissive type, I like that idea very much.

TOLERANT - A person with no convictions of what is right and wrong. All is accepted, there are no absolutes.

All is accepted? That's not tolerance, that's called acceptance. You tolerate a bad cold, you tolerate an annoying relative.

You guess wrong on the others.

And vagueness wins through! You win the Ambiguity Proclamation of Accolade unto the Personage that is You.

Our founding fathers would be considered rightists by modern standards. Everything's been flipped around since then-

back then, "liberal" meant very minimal, almost nonexistant taxation & very little government intervention in anything. Times have changed aye?

I'm tired of political candidates pussy-footing delicately around the issue of abortion. Every time I turn on the TV, there's always some group of hippies protesting "for choice" or "for life." Each group pisses the other off, and no candidate will take a strong enough stance on the issue of abortion, so I've decided to form a political party of my own: The Regressive Party.

I have a different stance on abortion: I'm against abortion, but for killing babies. That way everyone loses, and I win. I'm neither pro choice, nor pro life; I'm pro you-shutting-the-hell-up. The only way I'd be "pro choice" is if it meant I could choose which babies I could abort, and only then if I could lift the age restriction to 80. I was at this mall the other day watching some shitty documentary when I came out of the theater and saw old people dancing to country music in the courtyard. I couldn't remember the last time I saw a group of people begging this hard to be aborted.

Kind of the extreme form of my opinion.

Where did you find that? Meaning did you write it or is it off of some site you saw at one point? I think that is really funny!

very funny site

to jay_a2j, and OnlyAmbrose (btw, i had a math teacher whose last name was Ambrose...)

If you guys have resorted to arguing with catch phrases you take off of mugs and t0shirts, you have hit an ALL TIME LOW

also, i'd really appreciate it if you shut up about the liberal media, you conveniently ignore that TONS of people get their information from Fox under the assumption that it is non-biased, which is clearly not the case. Bill O'Reilly isn't a political talkshow host, he's a bully who invites guests onto his show with the intention of humiliating them at their first sentence, instead of acutally engaging in a rational discussion. Its possible to be indignant and offended as he often is, whiel still engaging in civilized conversation like real talk show hosts.

I dated a girl and she purposefully got off he pill. When she got pregnant, she insisted on an abortion. Worst of all, I had to pay for it so she didn't go into a back-alley somewhere with a coat hanger. That probably would have killed her and the baby. I threw up at the clinic. It still haunts me and will for the rest of my life :-((((

Life is sacred. I'm agnostic, but I believe that life begins when my super-sperm meets the egg. Period.

Well you need to take a reality pill. Your girl was a freakin' psycho. She purposely got pregnant, so she could later demand an abortion?! Believe me...you did the RIGHT thing my friend by letting her make the choice she did.

I was in exactly the same situation...and 20 years, a great marriage and three kids later I still thank my lucky stars for dodging that freak-bullet.

Gerazan-
I'm sorry for your loss.

I dated for a couple months this one guy who had been engaged to this Woman. Well there was a car accident on valentines day and he was called in to identify her body. She was 7 months pregnant, and the baby survived a while, However the mother died on impact. He got to spend the night watching his child on a ventilator. The child passed away at 7:18am. Just the look in his eyes when he told me about it..I've never seen someone in that kind of pain. I hope I never have to see that look in someones eyes again ever! It's just not something you ever want to see, you know?
