Today I'm wearing a black t-shirt emblazoned with the logo and name of the small independent film making company with whom I have collaborated on some projects in the past, and will likely be beginning a new one come next spring.
This was a conscious decision, as I will be attending a panel discussion this evening as an audience member featuring a columnist from a very famous newspaper in the USA that reports on financial news and have some small hope of being caught on camera wearing the t-shirt, and thus plugging my friends' company.
If I am not caught on camera, then at least everyone there will see my awesome t-shirt, and will all think to themselves, "That shirt is rad! That guy is way cooler than me, I am ashamed of my inferior coolness."
