New version available.

You can now add, overwrite(modify), remove, clear all tags.
Also you can check just the visible checkboxes or clear all checkboxes with new buttons.

HEAD POST UPDATED with instructions.

Version info now included from 1.0.0 onwards.

Version 1.0.1 available (if you installed v1.0.0 then you'll see the game filter text go red so you can click on the New Version Available link.

Default tags added (Simple Maps, Moderate Maps, Complex Maps).

Territory default tags added
Huge Maps >= 100 territories
Large Maps 80-99 territories
Medium Maps 60-79 territories
Small Maps 40-59 territories
Tiny < 40 territories

All default tags can be modified but not removed.

Gah, ok, think of some alternatives for these names

Huge Maps >= 100 territories
Large Maps 80-99 territories
Medium Maps 60-79 territories
Small Maps 40-59 territories
Tiny < 40 territories

I disagree with those groupings...

I think it should go:

< 30 territories - Tiny
30 - ~50 - Medium
~50 - ~75 - Large
~75+ - Huge

I agree with Ink's groupings. There's a big difference between a 39 territory map and a 20 territory map, yet they're grouped together.

I've got one problem with the script, though. If I try to delete a grouping, it says that I can't delete defaults, even if the one I'm trying to delete isn't a default.

I just think anything around 40-50 is more of a standard size, there are at least 10 maps with about that many territories.

Well, I chose these numbers based of the number of maps falling into each range, really.
There are a ton of maps around the 40 mark for example.

I have literally fixed that bug you just found, will be uploaded soon.

So are we ok on Ink's titles?

Ok just ran these numbers and the 30-50 band is huge.

These numbers a little more even after running a test on the spread:

< 35 territories - Tiny
35 - ~50 - Medium
~50 - ~65 - Large
~65+ - Huge

The 35-50 is still quite big.

How does this sound?

Just so we can play with the numbers, can you break down the 30-50 range in groups of like 5, so 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49?

Any chance of combining this with map rank - well not necessarily combine... anyway here's my idea:

It would be great if the start/finder pages could be filtered by unique wins - especially those with less than 5 - i.e. the maps still needed for cross-map medals.



Another suggestion - re territory counts:

Rather then just filtering by bands of size, can we please filter (or maybe just display) actual territory counts. It's important though to show both total number of territories and the number of initial territories. It's the second number that determines suitablility of maps for certain settings (maps where each player starts with 12 territories, for example, are very "bad" for doubles).

< 30 - number of maps 6
30-34 - number of maps 3
35-39 - number of maps 10
40-44 - number of maps 27
45-49 - number of maps 14
50-54 - number of maps 2
55-59 - number of maps 7

Filtering unique defeats... let me think on this one.

Territory counts is already in the next version (click on map image and an alert pops up - will be available when I get feedback on the territory bands - see above).
Initial territories.... won't be in the next version.

EDIT: Initial territories is in the latest version after all.

OMG nice one Chipv:) Chooseing size of map takes only secs. This one is far one one of the requiered scripts for atm:) Thx so much this one is trully great. Cant wait to see more updates=)

My suggestions based on size of map groupings...

Small : <42 = 23
Standard : 42 = 17
Large : 43-59 = 29
Huge : 60+ = 28

1.0.3 Uploaded. Sorry, but yeti came up with an idea so cool I had to do it straight away.

The territory info is now at the bottom of the lightbox image - so when you click on a map image , look at the bottom
of the lightbox image and there is the total and initial territory info rather than an annoying alert.

New Objectives Tag also added.

I seem to be good at spotting bugs that don't actually affect anything. Once I have changed the map tags at least once, when I click the map, the territory count repeats several times across the bottom of the map.

Again, just an aesthetic bug, not actually important.
