Nope, think Mr. Law's (I loved when the Pat's secondary had Law and Lawyer Milloy) peak was about 5 short of the record, as I recall.

I'm not sure if he played the right position, but was it Rhonde Barber? probably didn't spell that right either.

OK - the player with the highest single-season interception total has is nicknamed after the preeminent "bum wine". If that doesn't help, he started playing in the NFL over 50 years ago.

Well, I generally don't care much for American football, and I'm only 19, so I don't think I'll be answering this one.

No sir, the player that accomplished this feat is not as well known as Mr. Brown and others, though is a RB...

Alright time for some hints and a bump... - Also a major league pitcher, gave up two homeruns to Babe Ruth in his 60 HR season. - Position was fullback - Scored six touchdowns and kicked 4 extra points in the record breaking game - Ranked #25 by ESPN of Top College Football Players All-Time

It's almost been a month. I'm going to take a guess that no one knows the answer to this question. I'll throw out an easy one in the hopes that the thread gets moving again. Who played left field for the infamous 1919 Chicago "Black" Sox?

I think you might need to clarify if you mean European football, or American football. We have a pretty diverse group 'round these parts.
