To be clear, strike wasn't primed by the auto-prime mechanic? And will we always know when auto-prime triggers on someone, even if we don't know if it was successful?

If you miss the 3 days deadline the auto-prime mechanic is triggered..However, on the first time you will receive a PM warning (a formal prod warning like stated in rule 15).
Rule 15 also says "72+ hours" so it won't be exact 72 hours sharp.. but 4 days is -in any case- over the limit..
After the first PM warning the auto-prime mechanic will be executed (for the rest of the game duration) in exactly the same way as the regular arsonist would "prime" his target on night action. Only the arsonist will be informed who the auto-prime target(s) are that night (as only he can chose to "ignite" primed targets that night or later on). So if you are not the arsonist You will not be informed of whether the auto-priming was activated on you, whether the priming was succesfull or not. In the event the arsonist would auto-prime himself succesfully he will be informed as the "ignite" action would suicide him. The arsonist will also be (as the only player) informed when 'primed status' would change back to "unprimed" due to gameplay events.

What is making you think it sounds like that?
The phone call where they're talking about Big Tuna and the arsonist, they mention that the arsonist is looking for someone and doesn't care who gets in their way.

Johny "The Nose": Vinnie received a tip from way up. Said some psycho hitman or something came to town looking for him and the big man. He said we had to check our back at all times; Vinnie was taking it very seriously.
Big Tony: A hitman coming for Vega and Big Tuna? Who is this guy? Mr. Nuts? No way, that can't be a hitman. No hitman would be stupid enough to go after Big Tuna.

Setup
2 Mafia Goon with altered Role Modifications for balance (the intro could give away some hints or clues on the matter like the "You need to control. Because you know the game surprises you" quote)
1 possible Mafia Traitor
8 Town
1 3P
with Mod promise that only Cop, Doctor, Vigilante, Jailkeeper, Firefighter, Roleblocker and some hidden scum powers are in the game (again, all with altered Soft Role Modifications for balance, the 3P not included)
The Mafia is composed of "Mad Vincent Vega Vengeful" and Don Giovanni “Big Tuna” Gambino!
Mechanics
Day start
Role Modifications
According to mafia game roles , the Traitor is an assigned role. Would it be safe to assume that this game Mafia can choose any of us to be a potential Traitor?
With luck , this could get us town sided quick.
That's why i am not sure if it got bad for 1 scum remaining, if he could just choose anyone or if the traitor was an assigned at beginning.
Revealing your abilities may make you a potential scum traitor if he got to pick?

@homer, do you prefer to lynch or not D1?
if we're going to make a decision one way or other.. i would go with no lynch since we have nothing that seems close to enough to do a lynching right now
So, you don't have a preference as such. If no one makes a mess of it, you'd be happy with no lynch. Is that correctly understood?

And here we are...people searching for clues in mod flavour looking all busy instead of gauging players. Wake me up when you're done guessing what the 3p arsonist wincon is.

Sometimes it's not the what is said but the response it gets that has it's tells.
All of the pre tik tok posters got a reasonably clean look early doors in my book.
Ok I'm curious why Kong said he was a simple fishmonger still, but at the moment that's still curiousity more than suspicion.
That left the gen zzz ers - king, strike,Traf, homer.
Now Ew seems to have gone to sleep too. I'm wondering if Ew isn't deliberately trying not to look helpful though?
And now rag is grabbing some shuteye too.
Rag could be overplaying his id rather we didn't talk about ... because that gives mafia a chance to hide behind fluff making him by implication town, line of posting.
I don't really have anything to go hard on anyone with yet though.

I was kind of having a vibe on Max and you left him out.
I think read lists of people are pretty helpful for town generally, so I'll try to do some this game. Loose, I said that before game officially started as a response to joke vote from max, was a bad joke from me about being someone serving up fish when one of the mafia is big tuna.
Obligatory voting NL early is bad and doesnt lead to any reads of players post. Bandwagons are good bench mark. They tell you who is following the crowd and if scum tries to buck expectations by trying to lead a lynch, it forces them to come up with a case they know is flawed without slipping up in the process
Maxleod wrote:Not strike, he's the only one with a functioning brain.
No lynch votes are counted but not published (only votes on players are published). If the majority is reached on "no lynch" votes the day ofcourse immediately ends.
Because you requested: no lynch has 2 votes currently (Kingm, Charle)
Kingm wrote:@Sonic, do you have another "last post update"?
See what I did there?
Just 1 post every 72 to max 95 hours and you are fine.. it should not be a problem to do because it makes this game more fun for all. Staying silent or ghosting is easy.

Maxleod has received his warning and is already on active count-down.
Hi Max, this is your warning you are on active count down as of now (auto-prime mechanic).
To avoid triggering it please post (at least) 1 thing every 72 to (max) 95 hours..
I must say that I wanted to do a similar thing in the latest game I hosted, but since I didn't make it clear from the beginning, it was difficult to follow through. I applaud your initiative, Son!c. The game is more fun if people are active.

I agree, good initiative. Maybe we should include it in our "General Rules" for future games as well.
