Lol. Keep thinking that bud, no serious mental complexes exist within you, that's clear. Nothing I can do if I lose every roll but yes, I agree, your superior strategy ìs what gave you a card with the tert I happened to be on to put me out and that gave me shite for my first two turns. As for the competition, well, um, I wouldn't brag when most of your games appear to consist of chefs and privates, chief. Way to up the ante there, go for a challenge. But as I said, you quit and refuse to play anything other than the lowest of the low competiton so sadly, we'll never know what kind of a genius you really are...

Unlike you and most of your overrated ilk, I take on all comers regardless of rank. I have heard so many of you twits whose life has no meaning beyond your CC rank express fear to play against cooks and sergeants (unless you could do so in the cowardly gangs you call teams) because you had so much to lose if they inadvertently won. There are six games left that I started over a month ago with unfilled slots that haven't begun yet. I suggest you stay out of them, son. You have given me too many easy points already. Excreted in round four. So funny. I trust none of you other overrated nut jobs who were mouthing off earlier this thread will join the games either. Please, for your sake, learn from But Shot's mistake.

Oh, and the polymorphic games you all proposed? Not interested. From what I gather, that's one-on-one, which is not really giving the other person a fair chance considering I'd be one of the two. It's just not sporting. I play for the challenge of it and therefore prefer as many opponents at once as I can get. You guys who can't stand to lose should stick to polymorphic. You'll have fewer occasions to cry that way.

This thread reminds me of this old blog:

http://klobber-upyours.blogspot.com/

So, I checked how my win record was in 6-8 player nuclear games. Funny enough, of the 47 games in that category that I have played, Gen. Quigley has won more of them than I have (3 to 1).

You should have stepped up your game to zombie. I see you tried it but couldn't get a win. I like parachute but the most challenging settings are Zombie - No Reinforcement - Fog - Trench. Those settings are so harsh that even if your opponents have a truce they won't be able to contain you.

I kind of like responding to trollposts but they kind of need to be less obvious for me to enjoy it. An acceptable level of delusional content, so to speak.

You made that too obvious. No fun at all now.

The facts speak for themselves: four rounds and dead, never to be tried again.

My fav quote from the blog:
Factual information about the CC dice:

1. The dice are 100% non-random.

2. They are also 100% unpredictable, and these are two completely separate and distinct concepts.

3. If your brain lacks the necessary intelligence to comprehend that these are two wholly distinct concepts, then I truly pity you.

For all we know Swimmer might be laughing his ass off at this comment. Maybe Quigley lives in a trailer and is just prone to assuming most others do too?

Q, why don't you join a clan and play some team games? There is very good player quality, and no chance of bad players teaming up against good players. Most Clans probably have room for a freemium player to add to a few games, it might change your view of the site. I almost left around 2015/16 but decided someone asked me to join their clan and it totally upped my enjoyment levels of CC
What's wrong in living in a trailer?

Interesting: General Quigley's first post was May 21, he was to leave "This Week" (as stated in the title of this Thread) but here it is more than TWO weeks later and he is still here, chatting away, trying to rationalize why he loses games and ignoring reasonable suggestions. What are we to make of General Quigley?

What he calls "chatting and deal-making" is diplomacy, a natural part of the game of Risk, at least in versions I have played in Real Life on a Real Board, beginning in Childhood and continuing even in games on CC.

BTW: General Quigley is not a General; his highest Rank = 2328.

I see inconsistency in his statements. So, I ask again: What are we to make of General Quigley?
Leave CC This Week
Postby General Quigley on Thu May 21, 2020 2:06 am

My CC membership lapses this month and I have decided not to renew because there is still too much chatting and deal-making going on in the games instead of playing CC. It's unfair, basically permitted (encouraged?) cheating by management, and it ruins the game for me. If CC did not allow this, kept the game purely strategic instead of allowing collusion, I would happily renew. With this element involved, it's just not a game I'm any longer interested in playing.
Here are some MORE relevant quotes:
All diplomacy is a continuation of war by other means. ----ZHOU ENLAI, Saturday Evening Post, Mar. 27, 1954

I'm always diplomatic when heavily outnumbered by armed strangers. -----S. M. STIRLING, The Sunrise Lands

The supreme art of war is to subdue the enemy without fighting. –--- Sun Tzu

Diplomacy is the ability to tell someone to go to hell in such a way that they look forward to the trip. ----Winston Churchill

Diplomacy is the art of letting someone else have your way. -----AMERICAN PROVERB

I have left, son. Did you not notice my rank turned white? CC no longer gets my money because of cheating weasels like you calling their unsportsmanlike collusion "diplomacy" and Conquer Club not having the stones to condemn and prohibit it. By "leaving", I also mean I'm initiating no new games. When the games I started finish I won't be here to set twits like you straight in the chat any more. Games I initiated though, I will finish. That's because, unlike you, I honor my commitments. I know, even though I have explained that previously, it must be a very difficult and alien concept for you to grasp. Honor, commitment, look them up.

Rats. I should have quoted that rally against JP4. It was pretty good and he messed up the quote tags for extra zing.

Oh, well. It is probably better He managed to take it down. No point fighting on the Internet.

Have a good week Quigley. Don't take life so seriously, you'll never make it out alive.

It seems that "General" Q has not yet left CC this week either:

Game 19781028
2020-06-19 20:15:28 - General Quigley: First name Ass?

Game 20013545
2020-07-04 22:46:35 - General Quigley received 3 troops for holding ?
2020-07-04 22:46:35 - General Quigley received 3 troops for 8 regions

In Fairness, he may be finishing games he started (or joined) "one week" ago.
