Vigilante got lucky and mafia had some bad luck. if SK lives that first night instead of killed by the mafia then there is a good shot that town loses quite a few especially with the questionability of the sanities of the cops and who would be protected or not.

yeah the mafia had a decent chance they has a doc and 5 out of 20 isnt a bad ration they just needed to play better

I agree, they could have won if not for a lot of luck on the towns end.

Reality of the matter the only thing that might've helped more was instead of framer making a scum roleblocker and making one of the insane or sane cops just "random" instead of actual sane or insane. It did, however, keep the town on their toes looking out for that possability. Otherwise, I'm satisfied with the distribution that went out as it was actually 6 scum and 14 townies(I count SK as a scum).

Quite really, I could go with the public and bash the balance, but I think it was done exceptionally well. Also it is a newbie game to get newbs into non-vanilla. IMO some things like the multiple cops, and scum power roles are things that need to be known for bigger games. So it all works.

That too. I tried to just use the most common and non-confusing power type roles. Tracker, hider, cult, priest, jester, etc... I did not want to have in a mostly noob game. Besides vanilla games are pretty boring if you don't get a power role.

I still think that with 2 vigilantes, and 4 usable cops made the game a little bit off balance. And the roleblocker/framer/doctor we had couldn't affect the day cops or vig's, so we had no chance.
