There's no way to win in online betting, unless you get lucky at first and retire. You'll always want more.

Ffffuck Herrera almost scores. Herrera doesn't stay in Porto.
The two laterales aren't playing well for Mexico.

Town kind of quiet earlier today. Made up with a lot of Italians, Croatians and Latinos. Something tells me it is going to get a little louder soon on some parts of town and a lot quieter in others.

had big money on less than 5 goals on brasil-cameroon, f*ck that. It was for a double up, and they gave that rate when the score was 1-1, was just praying for 2 goals max.
Anyway, even if i lose all what s left i do make money as i removed my initial investment x2.
Anyway, congrats on mexico, you guys almost took the first place of the group.
Netherlands-Mexico and Brasil-chile, it s official.

It helps that it has been a great world cup, specially after South Africa's. I still have that horrible sound in my head.
Nah. When there isn't a World Cup, no one cares about futbol. Sad.
The MLS is what's sad, only sane not to care about football when there's no good football league on the entire continent of North America.

Well that didn t sound very subjective! I m actually pretty sure the brazilians went after the 4th just because you guys were 1 goal away from taking the first place from them.
You guys should ve ended first anyway, the first matches were a robbery.

When the score was 0-0, there's a clear penalty in favor of Mexico that the ref didn't want to sanction.

Yes true. That s potentially 3 goals and there is at least the penalty given to brazil on the first game that wasn t valid. Brazil ends with +5 you guys with +3.

The Mexican manager is mental. Also what is all this shit about turnovers? You mean attacks and counterattacks right? Use the correct football lingo dammit!
Also, some of the crap in our media about there not being enough quality English players coming through the system is bullshit. So many of the minor teams in the World Cup that have been performing well have players in their first eleven from the asshole end of the Premiership. Our squad was made up of top performers all from the top eight clubs. It is just a case of underperformance.
That includes USA as well who have been performing and playing well, but apparently their main striker before injury was Altidore, who was absolutely useless for 17th placed Sunderland. Other players in the squad include Cameron, left back for Stoke City and Dempsey who I have a lot of time for and respect but he was terrible when he signed for Spurs and since cleared off to the MLS for the twilight of his career where I believe the bulk of the States players play for. It seems they actually had some national pride when it came to playing for their country judging by performances which is more than we can appear to say for our team.

I saw a Croatian player on one play in the box, hold Mexican player down for header opportunity then put both arms out for hand ball to prevent a goal while standing in the box. With no call on either, refs missed again.

Another example is Bryan Ruiz of relegated Fulham coming alive to lead Costa Rica's attack, beating both Italy and Uruguay alongside Joel Campbell an Arsenal loanee. England couldn't do the same despite a much much larger selection pot of players.

All this is a first read. If you think about it, there is always a label with a player, his nationality.
If tomorrow you know that two 17 year old promising players have signed for your club; one from belgium, the other one from New Zealand. Now you haven t seen them play or anything yet, but I m sure the kiwi will have less chances to prove his value.
If the most important football league was the chinese for example, would there be as much europeans?
Also, you know how things work out in cup tournaments, where amateurs beat pro teams.
Football is just a game where once in a while a team really weaker can beat a good team on a bad day.
Take rugby for example; not gonna happen! If a team is really really better on the paper, there is too much level difference and it will never lose against a team 2-3 divisions bellow.

Could only watch the first half of Mexico/Croata. You could tell they controlled the tempo and obviously they kept it up in the second half.

YOu're right, turnover is a basketball term, it's just that I don't know the proper football term in English and since AoG used turnover I thought it was correct. Basically I meant ball lost in the around the middle of the field.

You missed the best of the game.
In the second half Marquez left his position in defense and moved to help in the middle of the field, then Chicharito came in and revitalized the attack, although Mexico had already moved to the offensive.
The referee didn't sanction a clear penalty when Srna became the second goalie of Croatia but minutes later Marquez inaugurated the score with a header in a corner kick. Later Chicharito made a good play that ended with Guardado's goal who celebrated pointing to his knees and saying they weren't shaking (Modric had said our player's knees will shake of fear). And for the third goal, Marquez, in a prepared play, combed the ball to allow Chicharito score at the second post.
Croatia will later score when Mexico was already relaxed.

I suppose giveaway is a better word than turnover
for much of the USA play. While I appreciate taking
chances attempting to be aggressive, surrendering
possession with bad passes drives me nuts.
It's not their attack or counter, it's a gift.
