Actually it's an evil purple tentacle determined to take over the world (I thought it'd be appropriate); it was a peace loving tentacle with no arms... before it drank the toxic waste. Notice his innocent green brother in the background.

Anyway yeah it's from a game Day of the Tentacle... from Lucas Arts... before the went all crappy and started making nothing but shit star wars games. The also made Monkey Island series which you may have heard of... they (like DOTT) are point and click adventure type games.

Oh and my hatred for "u"s comes from the fact that everyone spells it wrong all the time. It started off not serious but when the 20th person in a row mispells your name you get a little annoyed (See Scarus' last post). At least I'm called John in real life, no way you can mispell that, unless you spell it "Jon"... but those guys are idiots.
