Don't care what they say about Luck. I still feel like he choked a little in a couple of those big games. RG3 had the better year and I think he'll give his team more immediate success than Luck will. Long term I think they will even out more.

Anyhow, on topic, RG3 definitely has a raw talent that i like. I'm pulling for the guy. But I think Luck will probably start stronger, as he's "NFL ready" as every commentator has droned on about. I expect RG3, if he's to do well, will go to a team that he may have to drag up with him as he progresses. Hopefully he's up to it.

[quail]I have to say it depends on the team. They're both can't-miss prospects at quarterback. This isn't an Oden/Durant thing where they do dramatically different things (and one is notoriously injury-prone). They're both extremely athletic quarterbacks (RG3 more so, but Luck is also stupid fast and does
this sometimes) with excellent field awareness. I look forward to both of them being legit NFL quarterbacks.[/quail]

So my Bears gave a ham sandwich and a fistful of nickels to Miami for Brandon Marshall today. I'm in a pretty good mood.

I expect he'll really help Cutler finally look like a decent quarterback. Actually, I expect the Bears to fail to live up to preseaaon expectations, but I feel like they are really givong it a go this year.

At the very least it's a sign that the organization sees the flaws. This is a pretty good first move for our new GM. Considering there are rumors going around that Forte is signing a contract extension within the next couple of days, I'm feeling better about the state of the Bears organization than I have in a long time.

How does everyone feel about the draft? Lions picked an o tackle, a receiver (wtf), and then defense, focusing mostly on lb and secondary. We also got a free agent Keller Moore. I'm feeling sort of positive about these results. How about everyone else?

I'm wondering how the Washington Redskins will handle having two competent quarterbacks. Looks like a gutsy move for a position they've struggled to keep talent in for years.

The Broncos desperately needed a DT, so at least we got one (I don't know anything about him because I don't watch college football, but at least he plays DT). Also I guess we expect Osweiller at QB to learn from Peyton and be good once Peyton retires.

Should be interesting. I'm not picking up any skins for my fantasy team though.

I don't feel super confident about that, but it could work for you.

Did you guys hear that Donovan McNabb wants to get back into the league? What team would even want him? TO's criticism of him during their Superbowl appearance sounds more and more true.

The Broncos could use a waterboy

I'm pretty stoked. If Stafford stays healthy, I'm expecting a playoff win out of the Lions. I'm pretty excited to see Peyton back, and I want to see how these big QBs and RBs do this year.

Nope. I got the Bears winning the north and the Packers as a WC.

Who do you guys have in tonight's game? On the one hand, the Eagles suck, but on the other, the Bengals blow. What will win in this epic battle, the suck or the blow?

I don't even think this affects any of my fantasy leagues. I've got Cincy just because the Eagles seem to be trying to achieve record-breaking suck.

Who to start, Josh Freeman @ NO or Matthew Stafford @ ARI?

I don't trust Freeman. Stafford might only have one person to throw the ball to, but it's Calvin motherfucking Johnson. You can never tell when Freeman might have a breakout day, and even though the Saints play middle school defense, I don't think the Card's offense is good enough to keep Stafford off the field.
I'm biased though.

I have the same dilemma, and I'm going with Freeman. I hate benching Stafford but its what my gut is telling me

By ESPN scoring, I was correct.
Freeman got 1, Stafford got 3. Lol.
I had to start freeman because rg3 was out. Glad I had a good week last week.
