Personally I've always thought that the objectives, as described on the maps that use objectives, is confusing. The mapmakers all understand the idea that you have to hold an objective through all the opponent's turns but IMO it is not communicated well on the maps themselves. Most of them describe an objective but don't tell a player that you have to hold for a whole turn.
I wouldn't object to the idea that holding an objective-ever-is a win. Holding Sanctuary (and breaking through its 75 neutrals) in AOR2 seems like it should garner a win as a strategy. Holding the entire Gazala line, plus Tobruk plus whatever else you need in the WWII Gazala map similarly seems to be reasonsable. I would contend that the same holds true in Das Schloss.
In short I will disagree with the hard line stance that is sometimes taken that says that anyone who doesn't think that objectives need to be held through a turn is an idiot. I disagree with it in Feudal, AOR and I'll disagree with it here even more vehemently when its impossible to kill the opponent.

I'd question that! When i was taught english it was correct, and if my guess is correct you're from the USA aren't you fireedud....so i wouldn't quote that way you learn and speak English in the States is exactly correct English, as the States has developed some phraseology of its own, and what you are offering there sounds to me awfully like the American way of saying the same thing. Americans drop lots of words in their daily speak. I prefer what i have there thanks. But i am not worried about that. How about some comment on gameplay please.

I can live with this suggestion as long as I can kill the other players. If it is hard or not doesnt matter, the possibility must be there.
If your going to make this a map where killing is possible I loved the original idea of objective only. Put like 75 on escape aircraft so it is still a pretty long game and can't be captured early. Also make the escape aircraft a killer neutral.

It is impossible to put an objective as killer neutral, it would be impossible to hold it for 1 turn because you would be killed doing so!

It is impossible to put an objective as killer neutral, it would be impossible to hold it for 1 turn because you would be killed doing so!

I know that the bonus shift helps, but I think AA is gonna be killing fields again. I thought you had changed that earlier but obviously didn't keep up on it. How about if AA could only attack one line (say C2 to Y2) instead of both C1 to Y1 and C2 to Y2). This would significantly limit what it can do and allow folks to position themselves for rushes a bit better. Sorry if I missed discussion of this that contradicts my thoughts.
The perspective on the new bridge on the new road isn't working for me. Not sure exactly why.

This is very good. Those territories are excellent choke points, I've been holding them in one game to slow people down and gain access to the important parts. If I had to stay off (and fight through 28 armies to use them) then the game would open up more.
