But you got to admit it guys, USA has the refs against us the whole game, and once again taking another key goal away from us... great game, very tense.

USA really needs to step up their D if they are thinking of winning the WC tho... Algeria had plenty of shots to end the game tonight.

Well, in the end of the game, that was because the game had opened up with the US putting so much on attack. I agree that the defense was weak at times though.

I feel sorry for Mexico. They play Argentina in the final 16, and if they manage to win there, they'll most likely face Germany in the quarter finals (unless England somehow beats Germany). US gets Ghana and then either Uruguay or South Korea. I'd say the US has somewhat reasonable chances of getting to the semi-finals (not great, but far better than if they played Germany and then Mexico/Argentina!).
