it was deeeelicious. Caught a few of them and a bunch of mackerel too, cooked them up on the beach after we got off the boat. Nothing tastes like day-fresh fish...

No, we were fishing out of CHichester in the English Channel. I've been mackerel fishing in Scotland too though, in the Hebrides somewhere. Whereabouts were you?

And aye, matches are for the weak. After I had made the fire we sacrificed a goat and smeared our naked bodies with its blood. I put my t-shirt on when it got chilly though.

Aberdeenshire - haven't tasted anything like it since, and I'm not really a fish person - usually prefer a rare Angus steak.

You'll have to work on the T-Shirt...real men can sleep outside in the Scottish Highlands half-naked amongst the heather and not bat an eyelid. If you don't believe me, watch Braveheart (actually more of a documentary than a Hollywood movie).
