f*ck this. Came home tonight to find a notice pinned to my door - the landlords decided they want to rent to someone else. We have to vacate within 60 days.

Yeah. We're looking at that.

But for the moment the pressure is off. Worst thing was that because Mrs Thecurl left on business the day before the notice arrived, for a month (NYC, London, then Ghana), the house-hunt was something she couldn't participate in.

So someone came up to me in the pub last night, convinced that I was Robert Plant. He'd just seen him on TV, and he was convinced that I was he. I just looked up what Plant looks like these days, and I hope he'd been looking at some very old footage...

That reminds me of the time this guy was chirping me at the bar. I didn't even realize he was talking to me until I happened to look over. I said "what's your problem?" and he said "the Habs suck". I said "ok, I'm a Leafs fan, why are you bothering me?" and then he said "why are you wearing a Habs jersey?" At this point the entire bar broke out into laughter because I wearing a construction-vest style safety orange shirt (it looks nothing like a Habs jersey). It was probably the same guy.
