i don't know why we would have a row of dead people labeled saints would get attention

Went to themovies tonight to see "A Hologram for the King". An odd film , very odd.But I was fascinated all the way through.

One of my favourite books from my childhood. I'm really scared to see it. I'm worried it won't do the book justice. Certainly previous movie versions were crap.

My father in law loved it and he isnt a huge book to movie fan. Try it dukky

Apparently it's a live-action version of the animated one.

Of course it won't be the book. It was really good though. King Louie is a bit more serious than other movie versions.

There's one on YouTube where someone just mixed in Christoper Walkins just talking the song.

Him singing is good but you're right the old version is better.

I just can't like it. The music tries to sound like Jazz music, but sounds like it was written by a pop artist or something. And Walkin... It's not terrible, but... *shakes head*

Back to the Saints Row franchise, kind of hoping Saints Row 5 will be announced. If it's on the Xbox One, that's fine. I just want to see where they go from 4.

Another thing I have heard (and from very reliable sources, like Robert Jordan's widow) is that the Wheel of Time Series will finally be getting it's own TV show! I guess someone finally convinced Red Eagle Ent. to sell the rights or something. And unlike GOT, WOT is actually finished. Will be interesting to see what comes from it.

I think the problem is how Walkin brings his natural darkness to both the character and the song. My bud felt King Loiue was too threatening in this version.

I'm off to house-hunting for a few days. Looking at places from Monterey up to Sacramento.
