The game isn't at the Azteca, right? Its in Houston. That means the US will win. Bradley called in a dozen players from Europe who are in mid-season and should be on top form. I'm predicting a 2-1 US win with goals from dempsey and convey. It should be a great game though. I always expect the US to play that much harder against Mexico for the way Mexico treated Cobi Jones at the 2002 world cup. That was an appaling display of football and it still makes me angry. Happily the US won that game, although then had a goal taken away from them on a handball against Germany.

I just checked and saw that Mexico hasn't beaten the US away from the Azteca since March 13, 1999. and overall in games against Mexico that take place inside the US but not in California, the US is 9-1-3 with 22 GF and 6 GA.

Quick question for football fans from England/Europe/not the US. When games are on TV where you are, how many camera angles do stations use? I ask because I am trying to watch the US-Mexico game right now and ESPN insists on using a dozen cameras and it pisses me off. I can't see enough of the field.

the US has a few players from europe but they are all in crappy teams.
in the other hand mexico has a few but they are top quality players. even the players that dont play in europe are pretty good.
mexico set the pace in the game and stepped over the US.
one thing that i dont get its that if the US is so confident that they are better than mexico then how come they never play in mexican soil?

Sure, Mexico has Marquez and dos Santos from Barca, and Salcido from PSV, but other than that, from their squad last night, i don't see many club teams that they play for that I would consider better than Fulham (Dempsey, Bocanegra) or Everton (Howard).
I would have to severely dispute your contention that Mexico stepped all over the US because the US should have been up 3-1 at halftime as Dempsey's goal should have counted. That strike was an example of world class talent from a world class player.
As for playing on Mexcian soil, the game was in Houston and the crowd was about 75% pro-Mexican. Landon Donovan had to avoid being hit with empty beer cups and other debris when he was taking corners. so it was basically an away match for the US. if they had wanted to they could have played the game in Columbus or Chicago or New York.

I forgot to add that Bobby Convey plays for reading in the premier league, and Landon Donovan, even though he plays for a crappy team, is a better player than anyone mexico had last night.

sam, i could not give 2 shits if you bi,straght or gay. you seem like a good lad and billy is a neanderthal. if you like potting the brown and the pink then there are more holes for you to pot.
anyway 2-1 Ingerland. first half gave the ball away quite alot. Wes Brown was shit, Micah Richards did not to happy on the bench. was watching a bit of the N. Ireland game against Bulgaria(mainly Martin Petrov). Petrov scored and got man of the match. now on Sunday, if he scores an gets m.o.t.m an an away win. i'll be more than happy(can't see it though).

ooh. one question. I just looked at this soccer manager and it says you control real clubs. Xpert 11 has fake names and players. what do you think of this?
and you need at least 6 players to start but they give you like 2 weeks to find these players after you make the league.
